First thing Moog will probably till you to do after a restore is to try reinstalling the Firmware.. Might wanna use your favourite Sysex utility to backup any custom presets while you're at it also.. hope that helps.. Strange problem to be having.. haven't experienced anything similar to that myself...

I managed to get through (at the same URL you posted) and still ended up timing out within the site a lot.. but i managed to get hold of the Taurus stuff i was looking for so I'll go ahead and upload that to the Taurus 3 Microsite myself now I suppose.

Moog tech support has referred my case to the man himself (Amos) so hopefully between all of us we'll figure out where I'm going wrong.

Mr Arkadin - I think I remember something about some details on the original 3 presets being changed slightly (presumably to make them truer to the original) with one of the FW updates a year or so ago? Maybe that's what you're thinking of?

Guys, i've been talking to Moog technical support via email but i really don't feel like i'm getting the help i need… or at least I don't feel like we're getting anywhere fast... I tried to buy one from Moog leading up to Christmas, instead of a confirmation email, i got silence and then the website update to show them as "Sold Out" *sigh*

Someone else with more experience will hopefully chime in and help out.. but in the meantime, this website http://www.synthfool.com has some pretty good resources that may (or may not) help you.. including service manuals and circuit diagrams for the original Taurus.

One thing that has disappointed, that they may be able to implement yet is the lack of EQ in this unit… even just a 3 band with a sweepable mid (pref 4 band with 2 mids) for each voice and then maybe the same for the master bus (dare I hope for one pre Reverb and pre Delay also?).. Something to help...
