Re: Sub 37 editor/librarian and VST plugin

Just a bump to see if anyone has heard anything about this. Would be really nice to have. The synth is the easiest to program out of all the modern Moogs, but some things still beg for a software editor. Programming complicated mod bus routings would be way faster on a screen. Clicking or scrolling ...

Yes, don't forget to go to ableton's midi settings and turn on clock out.

Re: Noob Question: CP-251 vs. Mother-32

Same here!!! Thanks midilifestyle for the in-depth comparison! Also, great tip, _DemonDan_! I can see where learning the subtle and not-so-subtle in's and out's of all this gear is going to be half the fun! Yeah, be careful, sometimes it's more fun than making actual music ;) I've gotten to the poi...

Re: Noob Question: CP-251 vs. Mother-32

You'll have more fun with (and will be able to get more mileage out of) a mother-32 than a cp-251. The Mother will let you send sequences to the inputs on your Moogerfoogers and your Slim, let you send LFOs, let you do some basic CV signal mixing (for example, to mix together and then send out the w...

Re: Any Mother-32 Questions?

Thanks for the generous offer to answer our questions, Dan

Q: Does the pulse width knob have any effect on the saw wave? Manual is mute on this. I'm curious as to whether it's possible to get more of a triangle/sine wave out of the Mother oscillator pre-filtering. Thanks!

Re: sequencing voyager with sub 37

I'm not sure about this because my Voyager is in the US while I'm in Mexico, but just another possible idea: a standalone sequencer that does a lot of what the sub 37 does. The midipal by mutable instruments is discontinued, but I won one on the 'bay for around $200. They come up on there every mont...

Re: Sub 37 Cookbook?

I'm absolutely in favor of the death of the yahoo group and the creation of something new. I'm a member of knob tweak but I rarely check it. Yahoo groups feels super 90s and is a real pain on mobile. No offense to the original members who started it, whom I'm sure are awesome.

Solution for that might be found in this thread:

The workaround seems to involve dummy plugs

Re: Final Production of the Voyager Announced

Hopefully this means better used market prices in case I ever have to part with mine. I was shocked to see, for instance, that you can't find an mf104m for less than $950 lately. The Voyager prices have been hovering as low as $1995 for a while now, though, unfortunately, which is a devaluation that...

Re: Ableton (And OSX) not recognizing multiple Moogs

I also encountered this when I picked up a second Minitaur thinking I was getting another analog kick drum voice to use in Ableton. If I remember correctly, I was able to get the computer to see it, but it was a no-go getting the editor to know which minitaur it was talking to (I sold the second min...

Re: Final Production of the Voyager Announced

I'm scared to see what the upcoming Mother 32 is that they refer to in the announcement. I *just* bought a Sub 37! Now I'm going to be GASing for whatever new thing Moog made. My own character fault, of course, haha
