Re: Sub 37 Pitch Env Modulation

Oh but wait, I've got a Minitaur. Can I send it MIDI from the 37 and feed the audio out of it into the 37's pitch/filter for those kind of sounds? Also is it possible to only send to one oscillator on the 37 (pitch cv in jack and change the routing) or only to both?

Re: Sub 37 Pitch Env Modulation

Thanks Amos! How come you were unable to implement this? Maybe I'm daft but the VCO outputs are analog so wouldn't it be possible to stick an ADC there to feed the busses? I thought about getting a MF Ring but heard it won't track 1V/octave properly (SOS review). Will the MF-102 track properly? Just...

Re: ETA on Midi clock out for the Sub37???

working on this now... I have clock output basically working. The implementation right now is that you can choose to send clock all the time, or only when the arp is running. When the arp is turned on or off it sends MIDI Start/Stop. Should I add a menu option to enable/disable this (so you can sen...

Re: Sub 37 Pitch Env Modulation

Of course it can do pitch modulation. And I remember the Sub Phatty had 3 speed ranges on the LFO and that it could go up in the audio range. It's digital anyway so if it isn't able to now they can change it!

Anything but blue for me thanks! Yellow on black is nice but red would take it to the next level!

Re: Sub 37 - Questions

The LFOs always sync to whatever clock source the ARP/SEQ is using (which is the "master clock source" for the Sub 37)... you can have the Arp OFF, of course, but if you want the LFOs to sync to incoming MIDI you still need to have the SYNC button turned on in the Arpeggiator section. So ...

Well, everything is just there in front of you. Hardware is great if its knobby and buttony, but terrible if there's awkward menus. Maybe I'm just not used to the outboard workflow?

FWIW the Sub Phatty VST was rock solid for me.

Re: Why should i get a Voyager?

The control I wish the Voyager had is missing on the faceplate! :)
It's engine is superb but it's full potential is not yet unlocked!
Maybe I'm just too used to the ease of operating software? :)

Like do you want the ultra stable Osc's and multi drive, ect or do you want 3rd osc, touchpad, dual filters ?
They both have their different feature sets and if I had the cash I'd get both!

I want the voyager to have more control and the 37 to have more sound! :)

Re: Why should i get a Voyager?

Hey XAXAU, I have the EB Voyager and am planning on getting the SUB37 when it comes out. Even though I have a few moogers, VX351 and the CP, I find that since I mostly focus on making sounds that I can use to play live, the moogers,vx and cp rack is of no use there. If I didnt have the Voyager I wo...

Why should i get a Voyager?

I'm either getting a Voyager with slew rate mod, 1V/oct calibration plus a VX-351 or a SUB 37 plus a few Strymon pedals (Big Sky and TimeLine) with money to spare. I have a MF-102 Ring Mod which feels useless unless I get a Voyager or some DAW to CV plugin using DC outs on DA converters which I don'...

Re: Sub 37 Feature Request....

I think for a mono it's good to have high/low note priority but the 37 being able to play two notes should have low/mid/high priority. Being able to select which of those to send out should be available in the menu. For example I want the low note to trigger my Minitaur while the mid and high or jus...

Amos said the 37 could do microtuning and will be implemented. Dunno if it'll be available in the first OS though. I bet he's very busy!

Scala / .tun for Sub 37?

Just wondering if the sub 37 can import scala / .tun files like the Little Phatty can?
