Wish I could. That is a fair price. I hope someone snatches it up soon.

Re: COMING NAMM 2014

Am I the only one who thinks the Little / Sub Phatty chassis is a little silly? I know Moog probably don't want to spend the extra cash on a new design, especially when they can use the leftover materials from the discontinued Little Phatty, but I was hoping to see something a little more "form...

Re: Is it legal to sample Moog Synth and sell it?

I have always mentioned my instruments by make and model in my album notes. Never had any problems. I really don't think it's an issue. Most companies I'm sure would be happy for the free advertising.

Re: Creating Chords with a Voyager

Also keep in mind that Deadmau5 has several Voyagers. I know he's got an Old School, an Electric Blue, as well as at least three RME Voyagers. He is likely using some sort of poly-chain method, or sending separate MIDI data to each of the RMEs to create chords.

Re: Share your synthesizer music!

It sounds great but the battery life is that of a mayfly and AAs are expensive. I use eneloop rechargeables in mine, but someone on the Gearslutz thread recommended this AC adapter for $8.35: http://www.ebay.com/itm/400488828484. One of my little dreams is to send CV note and gate from the Bass to ...

Re: Share your synthesizer music!

This song was made with the onboard sequencer, though a couple things were done freehand. I do plan on having mine outfitted with MIDI. I own the Volca bass as well, but I don't use it as often as the Monotribe. It sounds great but the battery life is that of a mayfly and AAs are expensive. Korg nee...

Re: COMING NAMM 2014

I have to say that while I love what you (Moog Music) have done with this synth, I'm a bit concerned about it's user friendliness and sense of overview of what's going on. The Sub Phatty strikes a great balance, imho, of knobs/functions on the panel while still retaining some air in the deisgn. It'...

Korg Monotribe jam! Can't seem to spend enough time with my little boxy buddy lately. I'm thinking about doing some vocals for this one. Pro tip: listen to this one realllly loud. :)

Re: COMING NAMM 2014

As a footnote the Korg ES-50 Lambda was both Polyphonic and Paraphonic.... Using the ensemble sounds you had an volume attack and release for every note played from three divide down oscillators (no real filter but a tone control). And the percussive section used one oscillator and whilst some soun...

Re: COMING NAMM 2014

It's paraphonic. Which means (somebody please correct me if I'm wrong) that you can play every note on the keyboard at the same time BUT they share the same EG, filter and VCA. Although it may this may be very limiting for some people, I find paraphonic synths very playable. My Roland VP-330 is par...

Re: COMING NAMM 2014

The Sub37 has a nice thread going over at VSE as well: http://www.vintagesynth.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=74095&p=713867#p713867 I wasn't particularly taken with the Sub Phatty, but this basically resolves every issue I had with it. Duophony, super-versatile arpeggiator, extended keyboard...

Re: Confused by many products, which sounds ost like a Minio

I want to take some time here to really turn anyone away from the Voyager who may be purchasing it with delusions of Minimoog bass. It will absolutely not happen. You'd be much better off with the Phatty (little, slim, sub, whatever) as their oscillator design is far more suited to those punchy mode...

Re: Theremini & Sub-37...

When I first saw "sub37" I thought it meant a sub Phatty with a longer keyboard, but upon reading the description it sounds more like Animoog and DX-7 got together for a night of gettin' freaky and one of them ended up getting their eggo preggo.

Re: Winter NAMM 2014 ..rumours?

I don't know about any rumors, but I would love to see another release from Korg, this time geared more toward professional studio musicians. DSI has a monopoly in the realm of analog polyphony, and I am hoping to see Korg kick them in the jaw with a Polysix mini or something to that extent. Blofeld...
