Small S37 issues-VST Editor as well-Solved
I've noticed that when using the VST version of the Sub37 Editor that the Sequencer Clock Divisions don't show up like they should. I was trying to automate the Seq Clock Divisions from 1/8T to 16th. No matter where I placed the hardware knob 1/8T wouldn't show up in the vst editor. I even scanned t...

Re: Analog vs Digital
Very good point. When I am working with an inexperienced vocalist and they say just "digitally dub the vocal." I always try to explain why a real second take is better then a digital dub or copy. It always comes down to the inconsistencies. It is the small differences in the two takes that...

Re: *Help* Sub 37 sequencer issues
I had issues like that as well until I tried a different midi interface. I was using the Edirol UM-3EX via (USB) The Sub37 would only catch the beat about half the time. I decided to try the midi interface on my RME Raydat Audio Card (PCIe) and it locked up instantly, perfectly. Might be worth a try...

Re: How many of you are using the USB connection?
Haven't had any Midi issues with the driver at all, nor the VST editor. The librarian is a great way to load and save presets. Cubase 8.5 Win7 64 + RME HDSP Hammerfall here. Thanks for the encouraging news. Got the VST Version installed and everything is working fine in Nuendo. This saves me having...

How many of you are using the USB connection?
I've only installed the stand alone version of the editor. Works perfectly. Just wondering if I'm missing any huge advantages in choosing not to install the vst version in Nuendo? 1. Aside from seeing where the knobs actually are when I call up a preset, is there anything else it can do for me in a ...

Re: Sub 37 heading my way
Congrats on owning a great synth. Last night I was focusing on learning step editing of the sequencer. Lots of button push combos that make things easy. Remembering them is the hard part. On the side, I realized that you don't have to select the parameter value field before editing it with the fine ...

Re: Sub 37 rumors/new features wishlist
(Strange, option 2 does exactly that.)it can be frustrating trying to find where the knob originally was
I know, it's about finding the value that the knob was set to when the preset was saved. I guess I'm missing something here.Sorry, but this has nothing to do with the different pot modes!

Re: modulating filter slope from either mod bus
Assuming everything else is set correctly....If the preset in question is saved with the 24db slope, then the mod depth needs to be negative. So the setting will modulate to the left. If the slope is set to 6db the mod depth needs to be positive. So the setting will modulate to the right. This had m...

Re: Sub 37 rumors/new features wishlist
It's not about how the value from the preset changes to the current one. Yea, the second option, "Thru" is the closest thing to that. It indicates where the knob was to begin with by not changing values until you get to the original value. Have you tried it? I gave it a spin and it works ...

Re: Sub 37 rumors/new features wishlist
I'm sure it's been mentioned but I'd like to request feedback on the screen for parameter changes in relation to what they originally were before you touched the knob. I'm sure like most people, I have sessions creating patches and sessions making tunes, when I bring up previously made patches in a...

Re: Setting Sub 37 up as masterkeyboard in Logic Pro X
There is a setting for what midi gets sent out. I think it's in the "Global Menu" under "Seq Options." Then in the "Midi Menu" there is also "Out Filters." Those two settings should be helpful.

Re: Sub 37 cosmetic defect?
Well I tried a fix here at home under Moog's guidance but it is now headed back to Moog. Support was great and I think it just got thrown around a little too much by FedEx or something. Now I am Moogless for a dew days...

Sub 37 cosmetic defect?
I just received my Sub 37 on August 4th, 2016. I purchased it from Sweetwater on August 2nd, 2016. Last night while making some sounds I noticed that the piece of trimming just above the keyboard is crooked. The left side where the mod wheels are is sunk into the frame way more than the rest of it. ...

Re: experimental patches with Sub 37
If you are using the Soft Editor, try the randomize feature. Pretty slick the way they have implemented it. You can randomize the preset and the sequence separately.

Re: Sub 37 heading my way
I think that's pretty much it. Since this is a new order, it most probably comes with the updated filter pot (they updated the production more than half a year ago AFAIK). You may also want to run a note calibration from the global menu after a period of "acclimatization" and when the syn...
