Re: X Y controller...

Great vid CZ...sounds as good as it looks.
The possibilities of this XY seem a great many.
I particularly like the possibilities of vocal tones...
this will made to measure .
It looks as though the actual physical controlling looks a delight
...another Moog triumph ...how come we hardly see these?

Re: X Y controller...

Congrats on a first class job C Z. ! The whole project and the way you presented it is as good as any project manual plus excellent photos. This looks good, really good and I expect will be a joy to use. I admire the way you stuck to authentic construction I know how hard that is. Its almost indisti...

Re: Moog modular switches

Thanks CZ...Ive been studying the Modular light switches a while and this info fills in some blank spots. Ive made up some clone slide switches similar to the UID ones using RTV moulds and various resins. Replicating coloured switches is pretty easy but they dont illuminate. Ive made clear cast ones...

Re: Moog modular switches

So did the coloured slide switches actually shine or just sort of "glowed"..is there a bulb inside or led?

Re: X Y controller...

Pilot hole for the alum rod a must I would think.

Looking at the 10k pot how did they indicate audio taper on these particular make?
I cannot see A or B ? But audio must be the choice due to limited wiper travel ?

Looks a great job so far....very inspiring !

Re: X Y controller...

Excellent post CZ.... What a good way to solve a difficult scenario. Forget the dedicated Joy Stick controller ...and finding one if your cloning. .!! Just use two potentiometers Simple and clever. On first impression the pots will have to have metal spindles for strength for sure. Ive got some ex m...

Illuminated Modular slide switches ...colours?

Did the illuminated switches of the modulars have set colours...I notice on one modular 2 red and 2 blue for the CP3 switches..... whilst the S trig control panel has a mix of blue/green and yellow. Or, are the photo images incorrect ? Its hard to define the exact colours. Some modulars seem to have...

Re: Modular cabinets

Oh yea..! Thanks CZ....an absorbing reply. There must be more info here regarding cabinet hardware than anywhere else. Well done with the photos, rare stuff. I only wish I had taken more at the now defunked UK Synth museum but it was pre digital and I had run out of film ( imagine that?) But I'm con...
