Re: Individual Modules

I put my name on a list at Moog as soon as I saw the Emerson modular List ? What list ? How does one get onto that list ??? I asked if they would sell me just the filter module and they said "No, but if we do that in the future we will put you on the interested list". I don't think it is ...

Re: Individual Modules

I hope they offer individual modules at some point. I put my name on a list at Moog as soon as I saw the Emerson modular. They just put me down as wanting the filter and possibly other modules if they become available. I would love to have the original Moog filter in my modular as it has the most am...

Re: It can't be said often enough - read the manual!

After I saw this post, I reread the CP-251 manual and found at least 1 thing new and interesting: The Lowpass Filter cutoff on the smoothed S&H output is proportional to the LFO speed, so you can send CV to the LFO to control the smoothing Filter! I have no idea how I will use this information, ...

Re: Software Sequencer For Midi Murf

Which CC# is the slew/portamento control for the 104M? I see it listed on the Clusterflux as CC#5, but i didn't catch that parameter on the Delay list.

Re: Software Sequencer For Midi Murf

No prob, I just grabbed that info from the manuals and edited it a little to post. I find that if I just look over those lists every once and a while it inspires me to keep trying new things. With these pedals, MIDI really expands the way you can use these. Then you add a computer and you can tell i...

Re: Software Sequencer For Midi Murf

MF104M Delay Cheat Sheet: MIDI CHANNEL The default MIDI Channel for the MF-104M is Channel one. To change this, press and hold both the TAP TEMPO and BYPASS switches. While holding both, send a MIDI Channel mode message to the Analog Delay on the desired MIDI channel. The TIME LED will flash yellow...

Re: Software Sequencer For Midi Murf

Why yes, there is a very good chance that I did! 108M Cluster Flux Cheat Sheet: CC# 5 (MSB)/ CC#37 (LSB) Delay Time Portamento . This CC sets the rate of change of Delay time by all controls (Delay Time control, Delay Time CV, LFO, and MIDI control of Delay time). Larger values slow down the rate of...

Re: Software Sequencer For Midi Murf

Just in case anyone might want it, here is my Cheatsheet. It is basically all the info I wanted at my fingertips, so I might have left things out if I wasn't interested in it (aka check the manual for the full list). I haven't had a chance to try all of these things out just yet, so feel free to poi...

Re: Software Sequencer For Midi Murf

You can use a program like Ableton Live to sequence and automate any of the insanely long list of MIDI parameters. I got lost in doing just that for weeks when I first bought the MIDI MuRF. It was a blast testing out different ways to use this pedal. I sold off my Foogers to buy more modular, but ca...

Re: Will moog eventually add MIDI to all the foogers?

I have been wanting to tour the factory, maybe I could hitch-hike out for a a Fooger right to design enhancements march! Especially if there is Donuts involved.

Re: CP-251 bottom power supply?

I had the older one and you could unplug it from the board and move it over to the other hole (taking out the plug on the back and putting the plug on the top where the jack was. Or is your power jack or back jack hole missing completely? I bet Moog would sell you just that part if you explained you...

Re: Will moog eventually add MIDI to all the foogers?

I think they should at least have a MIDI Freqbox (to be able to play the VCO with a keyboard) and Lowpass Filter. Why not make MIDI versions of all of them? I guess the cost of developing them would need to be recouped through sales. I honestly think they are done with this line. They have moved on ...

Re: Next project almost complete

If I was going to start over with my Modular, I would check out SSL first: http://steamsynth.com/ModulesMU.aspx I have the Tap Tempo LFO, Segwencer, O'Tool Oscilloscope and the Double Decker VCO in my rig right now and love them all. I would also check out Corsynth: http://corsynth.com/home/modules ...

Re: Next project almost complete

I love the wood sides and wall hanging! That is a very Moogy setup. :D You probably already saw this, but if you didn't... here is what my Fooger setup looks like now: http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c395/bryanjbenting/Bryan%20Bentings%20Mooger%20Fooger%20Rack%204_zpsmqtcc0ww.jpg The modular in th...

Re: Next project almost complete

Don't get me wrong, when I hear thunder I am off unplugging my gear right away. It is much easier to do that when you only have a few plugs to pull out.
