Re: Sub37 Keys seem to be turning yellow

I'd be more concerned about the case of the axiom controller.

Re: Sub 37 Envelopes not consistent

Well, after playing again this evening a new discovery. While the KBD RESET button did solve the issues I was having it doesn't seem to work when the SUB OSC is engaged too!? The sound is consistent with OSC 1 and OSC 2 turned on. The sound is consistent with OSC1 and SUB OSC turned on. As soon as I...

Any help from you guys is very much appreciated! Thank you!

Yes -that should work fine. My MPC1000 only has 2 Midi Outs and Midi 2 Ins though.

Re: Sub 37 Envelopes not consistent

And after all that it turns out to be another classic case of user error!!! So, I somehow missed the large button called "KBD RESET" found in the OSC section...I had tried all the other KBD RESET buttons in the MOD sources and the KBD TRACK controls and the RESET buttons in the ENV ...

Re: Sub 37 Envelopes not consistent

Can only imagine that your mod 1 or mod 2 / filter AMT is set higher or lower then zero. Regards Luloop. Hey thanks, yes, it is weird - and yes, this is from an initialized preset - all modulation sources at zero. I take it your AMP envelope doesn't behave like this and is entirely consistent at th...

Sub 37 Envelopes not consistent

Hi folks, Iv'e noticed that the AMP envelope is not consistent and sounds different each time it is triggered. It sounds like sometimes it has a sharp fast attack with a click and other times it is soft and dull, without a sharp attack transient. It's quite noticeable when trying to make a chugging ...

Re: Lugging when usin cutoff knob

Sounds like the dreaded Filter Cut-off problem has happened for you! It is a known issue affecting a small number of units.

Get in touch with Andy @Moog (technical support) - it sounds like you will need to have your pot serviced/replaced. He will sort you out with a solution.

Re: Getting Paraphony to sound like Duophony

Not according to the venerable Mr Marc Doty! PARAPHONIC vs. POLYPHONIC It's one of my pet peeves, actually. There seems to be some extensive confusion about what these terms mean, and what they mean in relation to each other. Even the Wiki page states something ridiculous about "true polyphony....

Re: Sub 37 ext in: very low headroom?

Have run Minibrute, MPC, and VST's through the EXT Input without any problems here. It may be that you should turn the Level of the Peforumer up and the EXT Input down rather than the other way round?

Re: Getting Paraphony to sound like Duophony

The Sub37 is both Duophonic and Paraphonic - as I understand it. Duophonic because it can address each oscillator separately according to the High or Low note priority setting. Paraphonic because each oscillator must pass through the same single filter and amp envelope. This is what happens with the...

Re: Understanding this Arpeggiator Behavior

Yes, I think you've got it. Both the LFOs and the Envelopes (when looping) can be set to Sync which will tie their rates to the speed of the Clock. The clock could be INT from the Sub37 or EXT from an outside source. If INT then adjusting the ARP RATE knob will affect any modulation that is synced t...

Re: Sub 37 Filter Cutoff: First Batch vs. Revised Batch

Yes - it was me who bought a revised board for about 800 NOK. That included tax and shipping to Europe so you can guestimate a rough US price fr that. My original plastic shafted pot is still showing no signs of any problem and I have had it since Feb. @Toom - I suggest giving Andy another mail or c...

Re: Sub 37 Filter Cutoff: First Batch vs. Revised Batch

Hi, it cost me about 800 NOK incl tax and shipping to Norway. I guess it would roughly equate to 100 US Dollars at the moment - the kroner is particularly weak at the moment though.

Re: Sub 37 Filter Cutoff: First Batch vs. Revised Batch

^^^Is exactly what I did! I had one of the 3xxx's and was a bit worried about the pot issue so I contacted Moog and asked if I could buy the revised PCB. They sent it to me in Norway via my nearest dealer within a week and even offered to let me have it for free if I let the store swap out the old b...
