Re: Sub 37 updated release date ?

Just be glad you got a 1700 serial. My first was in the 1500's and had lots of issues. So much so that the uk distributor didn't want to try fixing it and sent me a replacement. This one is much better built and even has the light leak issue fixed. :-) What's this supposed to mean? That all the fir...

Re: Sub 37 feature suggestions - firmware updates

If you first press SAVE and then COMPARE, the sound you want to save is buffered while you are comparing, so when you exit COMPARE you can finish saving your sound and it will be in the same state you wanted to save before entering COMPARE. Yes, we are planning to implement a parameter display on t...

Re: Sub 37 feature suggestions - firmware updates

WISH LIST FOR SUB 37 FIRMWARE UPDATES: - When saving patches, I cannot see if the bank/preset saving to already contains a patch. So there's an risk of unwanted overwriting of an existing patch. Is this possible to sort out in a future firmware update? - Make possible so that BPM and time signature ...

Re: Moog Sub 37 - is it analog, digital or hybrid?

What about the Sine LFO, or the two LFO-modulators in general - are they all analog? Since the Sine LFO is only accessible through a digital display, I'm thinking that it's a digitally generated sine wave, but I really don't have any knowledge of all this so.. if anyone with knowledge can explain th...

Re: Moog Sub 37 fw update 1.0.6 failed

Tried rebooting, and have nothing plugged into my MBP except 1 usb cable to Sub 37. No other applications running except Sysex Librarian. Ran transfer at 50% speed, as suggested. Still fails at the same point in step 4. Currently, all LEDS are on, screen is blank, and ARP RATE and MIDI LEDs blink t...

Try to repeat the steps? Start with step number 1.

I did an update of the firmware, it failed at step 3. Had to start over again. Worked second time.

Re: SUB 37 - synching to midi clock

I'm also having problems with clock. I'm sending from Ableton Live.. which, in truth, has always been shakey, but the 37 is wildy off. I updated the firmware to 1.04 and it's still drifting. I tried both USB sync and MIDI DIN sync. Does the thing just not sync with others? Plz advise thanks. I'm no...

Moog Sub 37 - is it analog, digital or hybrid?

Hi there folks 8) The Sub 37, exactly what parts are 100 % analog and what parts are digital? Sound on sound wrote: "The Sub 37 is an analogue/digital hybrid with an analogue signal path controlled by digitally generated modulators and contour generators." Could someone please explain what...

Re: Help newbie decide: Voayger vs Sub37

Congrats Boris!! :) Thanks :D I'm pretty sure that the oscillators in a Sub37 are VCOs, probably controlled by a precisely digitally generated CV. (much like in my Opto-Key equipped Minimoog D) Wouldn't a digitally controlled VCO in fact be a DCO? Does it make a difference if it's digitally control...

Re: Help newbie decide: Voayger vs Sub37

Yes the Voyager has a latch function. Thanks, I found out. It's the button down on the right side of the panel. And today I got myself a brand new Sub37 8) I wanted the Voyager, after understanding more of it's functions, but read too many stories about VCOs suddenly dying without any reason, so fo...

Re: Help newbie decide: Voayger vs Sub37

Does the Voyager have a "latch"-function, as the Sub37? I like that function, holding whichever note played while I can modulate the sound with the buttons and knobs.
