Yes, on my Voyager, osc 3's triangle is a bit brighter than osc 2 & 1's. In the beginning, I was furious, and blamed faulty knob calibration, but then I remembered reading on the forum that osc 3 sounds different because of it's LFO capabilities.

OK, just to throw another one in there - these guys are great too: http://www.analoguehaven.com Analogue Haven used to be the best place to buy synths in California, because you could actually drive to them and know the satisfaction of having your gear already. Sadly, they don't have a storefront a...

Damn, you're in LA and you haven't gotten to play one yet? I'm from San Diego, but I once drove up to Analogue Haven (best analog synth retailer on the West Coast) to try a Voyager (AE) for the first time. They also had a Doepfer Modular for customer testing, and a vintage Minimoog in the back for e...

I really think it's beautiful. Take a look at this picture I ran across today... http://www.uncrate.com/men/gear/musical-instruments/moog-guitar/ I love it. :D That is the most flattering picture I have ever seen of ANY guitar! It is true that guitar is flattering, but its all about the fun...

What position do you play your Voyager in?

By position, I mean the position of the front panel. I set it to as high as possible (the metal plate is lowest on the notches in the back). Did the original Minimoog have notches on the back, or was it a at a fixed angle? And if it was fixed, what Voyager notch setting is closest to it? Note if you...

I hope they never release a real MF-106, and that they continue to entice us every year with modules we can only dream of.

If they release a sequencer, will it even be labeled MF-10X?

Well, it depends. I would lean towards keeping it because it's a polyphonic. Do you want to have the ability to play chords and do some nice pads. Sure you can do that on the Old School to an extent tuning each oscillator to make a 3 note chord but it's not the same. Do you like the nord sound for ...
