hey guys,
I just got word that Phil Cirrocco at CMS synthesizers has finished modifying my ARP. Theres a photo on his site with him holding my ARP in front of a small wall of modified ARP synths. http://www.discretesynthesizers.com/arp ... rp2800.htm
I just had to brag about it.

Re: Post Your Phatty Tribute Number!
E.M.White - "Question for Tribute owners... have any of you had your Tribute modified (or modded it yourself) so that LHC (Pitch/Mod wheels) flash along with the LFO?"
I asked for this when I sent mine back to Moog for updates and mods and they said they would not put that mod into a LP.

Easy. Get a foot midi controller, get a Slim Phatty and there you go. Modern Taurus 2.

Re: Engaging mod wheel without a modwheel?
Thanks guys. Turns out what you are describing Sir Nose is as simple as holding down the Amount button so it starts blinking. At this point the mod section pot acts as a mod wheel. Much like the tap tempo function on the rate button. The people at Moog are smart.

Engaging mod wheel without a modwheel?
I am using a Slim Phatty to process the audio of a farfisa pro duo organ. I am curious if there is a way to apply the sine wave from the LFO to the filter without having a modulation wheel connected to the SP?

Re: LP OS3?
One could use the CV from the keybed to modulate the LP's filter cutoff, or volume if they have the CV out mod in their LP. My big ? is if the new OS will be compatible with a Tribute edition LP.

Re: delay for LP?
Crucial Audio in Santa Rosa makes an awesome delay that is an analog tube delay. But it sounds like a super warm tape delay.

Re: Duel of the Jester and the Tyrant
He does use an ARP on that song for the intro. However, on the album the song is from, he definetly uses a Moog for a solo. The pitch bends are a tell all. I am curious about that synth patch. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

Re: For folks who have used (or want to use) Poly mode
I have been enjoying using my SP with my Tribute. Since I am only at two voices at the moment I hadn't thought about these voice prefrences yet. The round robin type voicing for poly mode seems to be a common steup on alot of synths. I know that's how it is set up on the college's Roland Jupiter 8. ...

Re: So the SP is out, when do we get the presets for the LP?
As long as your LP is running 2.0, it is compatible with the sounds. However, functions like "tuning scale" are not not going to be availible on the LP.
