Re: RC-50 with Taurus

I also use the RC-50 as the master to clock the T-3. I believe this problem could be solved if there was a way to have the T-3 accept MIDI Start and Stop messages. I understand that the resolution of the T-3 is 24 pulses per quarter-note. This allows the T-3 to play a note duration value as short as...

I'm thoroughly enjoying my T3. I really couldn't careless about a T1. I had a T2 years ago, got rid of it and replaced it with a Pro-One.

I require a MIDI instrument and the T1 isn't.

Re: What do you use your Taurus 3 for?

I am also interested in the possiblity of saving sequences. I'm have a great time just playing a chord (any voicing) on my Oxygen 8 that is connected to the T3. Of course when I use that method, I can play bass from the 'bass' side of the Stick. Then I can step on a T3 pedal for bass and chord with...

Re: What do you use your Taurus 3 for?

I'm mostly using it with my Alto Stick. I have BOTH an Oxygen 8 and an RC-50 controlling the T3. I use the RC-50 for clocking and the Oxygen 8 to play chords for the T3 arpeggiator and to control a bunch of other parameters. Of course I use the foot pedals and footswitches, of the T3, as well. Since...

Re: Post Your Taurus III Serial Number

Yeah Rush isn't even using any vintage gear now. I read that they sampled all of their synth sounds...
Rush is 'vintage'. They're too old to sit around and tweak sounds all day. Might even be play-synching to much of the sound one hears at their performances.

it's just that I personally would be just as happy doing that with the unit sitting on a tabletop or in a rack. I was teasin' you! I use an Oxygen 8 to control a lot of what the T3 can do. I'm working the T3 into my mayhem of pedals and it will be more convenient to use this little keyboard control...

This is good news - this is going to be my set-up (well I'm halfway there with the RC-50). I may be asking you for tips in the future. Mr. Green And yes I want to sync T3 arps with RC-50 loops (which is what I assume you're trying to do). Just started trying this yesterday. It is working. But I'm o...

No problems over here.

I'm synching the T3 to a Roland RC-50. It's working good.

Is there any way to have the T3 start and stop with the RC-50? I guess the T3 would need to be able to understand MIDI Start and Stop messages.
