Is there any possibility of Big Briar manufacturing the classic intigrated chips in the near future? Don't count on ANYBODY making the classic integrated ICs like SSM, CEM, Roland, or Yamaha ICs. IC fab house expenses run in the six digits, nowhere as expensive back in the heydays of analog. And th...

And as far as 88 notes ... I've never needed that many, and I probably never will. You will if you split the keyboard into more than two zones. I've played many gigs with my 88 key Kurzweil MIDIBoard and there is a need for that many keys at times. Contrast that to my Andromeda where 61 keys is bar...

Just in case anybody has any doubts  http://www.modularsynth.com/NAMM2001review.htm Yeah, playing and hearing the thing in the flesh was a highlight of that NAMM show. Very very cool. I've never heard anything so huge on just two VCOs. I don't have the MMV software so I can't comment on compar...

Well here's a pic of the Andromeda/Vger/Bespeco rig I brought to AMHW this year.

I have both. The Voyager has that famous Moog sound and being a brand new synth would be more reliable than a 20-30 year old one. You'll also gain programmability, MIDI, an extra VCF and LFO, better EGs, better modulation capabilities, touch sensitivity, and far more I/O jacks than the model D. Get ...
