Re: What happened to OS 3.6

With OS3.6 anyone else hearing extreme chopiness with receiving midi volume control? Happens whether contolled from the Voyager Master Volume knob (with local off) or from my PC3x controller. With local mode on - no problems. Thanks.

Update: Fixed - I believe it was something in Reaper causing this.

Re: Memorymoog Power Supply woes (solved)

Hi all-
Does anyone know how much current the +5V RAW draws? This is the power signal used to drive the front panel displays and LEDs.
BTW the schematic shows 142mA but the service manual on page 121 indicate average 800 mA.

Thanks - Mark

I didn't look but I assume these are common off the shelf parts. Having repaired my Memorymoog recently and stocking up on ICs I suspect there will be a supply of dual in line parts around for quite some time. Of course there are certain parts that are difficult if not impossible to get (CEMs).

I opened my Voyager for the first time to install the VX-351 adapter. I have the old (long) board. And....I had the 3.0 hardware update. So I guess that they modified the board with more RAM. A hell of a lot cheaper for Moog I assume even though I was charged the same price. Oh well. It will be a lo...

I just spent the last 1/2 hour trying to log in here - couldn't figure out my password. I seldom post here -it's been over a year probably. My intent was to reply on the OS2.6 thread after downloading 2.5 last night and being disappointed that there was no fast scroll program change feature like on ...

I use the Roland EV5 (2 of them). They work fine. I tried the Yamaha FC7 but it doesn't work. It may work if you reverse the signal shield but I have yet to confirm this.

Along the same desires for "real"aftertouch -not just on/off, I would like to see "real" velocity sensing. This would make the Voyager unbelievably expressive.

I've re-thought how I would implement the transpose function(see previous post on this thread). Do not use any dedicated switches. Instead I recommend in the Panel mode display that currently allows only selecting a new program have 3 horizontally displayed items under the program name. One is the c...

I'll second the praise to all the good work done at Moog on the recent Voyager software release. Thanks.

I'm looking for an easily accessible octave transpose function. Perhaps the glide and release switches can double up as octave transposers if initially set to do so in a software option.
