Re: Synths only, No computer
Thanks for the replies, Just so you know your efforts were not wasted I've read up on Koma RH301 and mixers. I really liked the look of the Koma so have ordered one. I bought it from their online store form Germany as it was on sale at a nicely discounted price. Converted form Euros to pounds and in...

Synths only, No computer
Hi this might seem a pretty silly question to most of you but bear with me please, I want to build a set up where I have Synths only and no computer. I have ordered a Sub 37 and 3 mother 32's to get me started. What do I need to connect all the synths and be able to sync them and get sound from all ...

Re: Sound bank Problem
Thanks for the reply. I think that could be the case. Off to the menders then for my voyager and a good excuse to add a Sub Phatty to the collection.

Sound bank Problem
Not sure if this is a hardware or a software issue. I did search for this and have been attempting for several hours to get the sounds working but no luck. I did a software update to my voyager RME. I did not back up my sounds prior to this. None of my sounds are there now (obviously as I was a nump...

I must make an effort to post more as I tend to browse but am never logged in or am browsing on my iphone and a post is impractical. Anyway just to say I enjoyed this demo alot, I like the fact it has a video with it, this is impressive as clearly the Arturia is a relatively new acqusition for you a...

Re: Latest, Greatest Minitaur Editor - Get It Here
Had a bit of a play with this and seems to be pretty stable. No issues as yet on Mac OSX 10.7.3. Having fun now trying out and tweaking the various sounds. Id no idea the Minitaur was so versatile, Ive as usual barely scratched the surface of what it can do

Is it just me or does that sound like a Korg Monotribe in most parts?

Re: Chance to buy a Voyager XL
I think you are right. I have a tendency to be distracted by shiney new things. A real gadget weakness.
I'm going to have to learn to be grateful for what I have and create some good songs.
Thanks to you all for helping me see sense.
I'll contact the guy and say thanks but no thanks.

Re: Chance to buy a Voyager XL
Its funny you should mention recreating Phatty patches. Thats what I'm doing right now. I really like the patch Deep and Dark, I usually put Oscillator 2 up an Octave when I play it as well as a few more tweaks and have just created a remarkably similar one with my Voyager RME, going to try a bit of...

Chance to buy a Voyager XL
I currently have a Voyager RME, Slim Phatty and Minitaur. I have the opportunity to trade these in as part payment towards a new voyager xl. Bearing in mind what Im parting with, I wonder what your opinions would be on this? I could always buy the CV inputs as an addition to the rack mount. As a pac...

Re: Songs w/ Little Phatty
[quote="nathanscribe"]I decided to educate myself, and cover Depeche Mode's Any Second Now from the album Speak And Spell (1981). All parts courtesy of the Moog Little Phatty - including the drums. I did run an external white noise source into the audio input for the downward swoop, but ot...

Re: Lurker ermerging from the depths
Hello and welcome. Do you ever initialize the Voyager? I did, and had reasonable success in producing sounds. It can be a bit daunting at first because of the amount of tweakability the voyager has and the number of options for the LFO bus and modulation busses. The Minitaur simplified th...

Lurker ermerging from the depths
Hi All, Just thought I'd emerge from the shadows as I'd enjoyed the input/arguements from forum members and the advice given that I often wanted to post a comment of thanks etc. but obviously couldn't do so as a lurker. I'm from Northern Ireland, bought my first Moog in January, a Slim Phatty. I lov...
