I was interested in the JP-8 until I saw how tiny it actually is. I think the sliders would be hard to use being that small.

If I was to buy a current Roland synth today I'd get the System 1M. I don't particularly like the green color though.

Sorry I didn't have better info. I don't really use my mf ring as much as I thought I would, if you want a cheap replacement for the big guy. I previewed "Ghost In The Machine" at iTunes and really liked what I heard Chris. Downloading it from iTunes now and can't wait to hear the whole thing.

Very nice, I didn't care for the "Popcorn" reference in the solo but really liked what you did overall.

I assume you checked your midi keyboard with another synth to verify it isn't the keys on your keyboard.
