Re: Problem with the old ring mod

I removed the back and wooden sides and sprayed inside the buttons, but that didn't seem to help much, so I emailed Moog. Taylor Mott from Moog replied rather quickly (just a few days) and suggested I actually remove the board this time and spray inside the buttons again. That did the trick! My ring...

Re: Roland "Boutique Series"

I was interested in the JP-8 until I saw how tiny it actually is. I think the sliders would be hard to use being that small.

If I was to buy a current Roland synth today I'd get the System 1M. I don't particularly like the green color though.

Good idea Stephen. I've got some contact cleaner around here somewhere, I'll give it a try.

Re: Problem with the old ring mod

Sorry I didn't have better info. I don't really use my mf ring as much as I thought I would, if you want a cheap replacement for the big guy. Thanks, I don't use it much either and will just work around the problem, since it still kind of works. If I get frustrated with it and still need a ring mod...

Re: Wow, Mother-32 has reinvigorated Moog!

So you're making statements about two synths that you have never played, using completely opinion-based statements. Brilliant. Maybe you should do what your signature line says, and just stop talking. Is that really necessary? This forum is made up of Moog and synthesizer enthusiasts. There's no re...

Problem with the old ring mod

Haven't used my Moogerfooger MF-102 in quite some time and turned it on the other day and it wasn't working quite right. The buttons don't always "catch" but do when I continue to push on them and the output volume varies from normal to sometimes barely audible depending on what button is ...

If you are more concerned with convenience rather than looks you can always get a bunch of these and solder them permanently into the 1/8 jacks: http://www.monoprice.com/product?c_id=1 ... 1&format=2

I previewed "Ghost In The Machine" at iTunes and really liked what I heard Chris. Downloading it from iTunes now and can't wait to hear the whole thing. :)

Very nice, I didn't care for the "Popcorn" reference in the solo but really liked what you did overall.

Re: Two notes in scale have no tone.

I assume you checked your midi keyboard with another synth to verify it isn't the keys on your keyboard.
