Drum pad to trigger Phattys
I am going to experiment with using my Slim Phattys as percussion, triggered by drum pads. Does anyone know what the drum pad is that they use in some of the Moog Sound Lab videos (like the Antlers session, among others)?

Re: Post your latest purchase!!
Sexiest thing since Marisa Miller. How much did that set you back????? I was daydreaming about that exact color Voyager for literally over an hour. erm...it was right around $3.5K, pains me to say. But (I justify to myself), it comes with a LOT of extras. Glad ya like the color! :D It was definitel...

Re: Multi-Moogerfooger power supply
The maximum output of the voodoo is 250mA and the cluster flux needs a minimum of 300 mA and the midimurf seems to need above 250mA. You can get current doublers for the Voodoo for about $5/pop. FYI... [hmm...somehow this post was delayed until after the flurry of other responses, one of which said...

Re: maybe my mf-104z has problems?
There is another issue with the 104z, and that is that sometimes it will intermittantly fail to self-oscillate. Sometimes 4 repeats max at everything full volume and feedback maxed out. There is a permanent fix for this, and mine has it installed, yet it managed to fail again when I fired it up aft...

SD owners -- how much "worse" (subjective, I realize) is the noise floor than the Z, due to the extra buckets in the brigade?

Can you retrofit Voyager Pitch/Mod wheels to a Phatty?
Assuming Moog sells them, can one replace the rubberized plastic wheels on the LP with the clear Plexiglas ones from a Voyager? I just hate the feel of that rubberized stuff (and the clear ones look so much cooler!)...

Typo on panel art
I do hope that Moog notice the typo on the panel before these things start getting silk screened en masse: on the pics I've seen floating around, the legend for the very first control (top left) says VC0 2 (that's a "zero", not the letter "O")...

Re: LP OS3?
Does it make sense the LP should only send clock out when the arp is running? Or is it good/useful to send clock all the time? I haven't read all the posts here, and I'm not an midi guru, so I may have missed something. But wouldn't it be good to send it all the time, for example if you want to syn...

Given that it only has MIDI in, would this be possible? (I'm a MIDIdiot so I may be entirely off the mark here...)EricK wrote:AMOS:

Re: Changing LED control colors?
Ah, I found it on Flickr, no need to take a new one -- thanks! I see now, I thought the jacks mounted to the sides themselves; I didn't realize there was a metal plate behind them. That makes it a lot easier! I'll do what I normally do for guitars: cut and shape a template with MDF and then use that...
