That reminds me of the the first time I heard someone use a Drum kit Vocode a harmonically rich synth patch. Pure delight! The memory is vague but I think it was off a vinyl/plastic magazine insert for some early PAiA-era DYI vocoder project or product.

I built a kit that PAiA made; a (ph)flanger/chorus tabletop unit that you could crank the delay down into very noisy territory. It was cool for a limited type of effect.

@_demondan_, I still have a DM-500, and a DM1100 I never had the heart to let my old gear go. :D You're right, these digital delays were one of the best ones back then. I also save my old DOD rack mount analog delay and digital delay. I wish I had kept the Ibenez HD1000 Harmonizer though, but I swap...
