i have serial #2283 i've been told the older ones sound "fatter" than the upgraded ones. is there any truth to that? i really don't want to have to ship it in order to get it fixed, but i can't seem to find anyone local(seattle) who has substancial experience with old moogs like this. this...

i love that set up... i just wish i could get them to work properly:)

just out of curiousity,
how many hear gig with their mini's?
i can see the minimoog being great for studio use, but i want to be able to gig and tour with it. is that an unrealistic expectation?

i recently bought a mini... which i want to love, but it goes out of tune at the drop of a hat, -the 2nd oscillator especially. playing it live with the band in a humid practice space, it will go out of tune within two or 3 minutes. i can't even finish a song without having to adjust it half way thr...

okay, i did all those things and all the contour frequency does is act like a volume. when i turn it clockwise it turns the noise level down and when i turn it counter clockwise it turns the noise level up. something must be broken :( the guy i bought it from said it was working for him when he play...
