Re: New Products you'd like to see at NAMM 2014
As with all Elektron stuff, I don't know why but, it doesn't appeal to me, analog and all. Too convoluted interface maybe ? Or maybe it's also the demos by that guy, who touches knobs as if they're on fire or something, and does too many things at once in a cacophony of random noises ? http://www.y...

the Elektron Analog RYTM Drum Machine, they've nailed it with this one, analog drum voices + fx (per voice and master) plus sample layering, drum pads and step sequencer, it's perfect.

Re: theremini
"A Theremin with traditional heterodyning oscillator for pitch control combined with a sound engine derived from our award winning synthesizer, Animoog." Built in Animoog, didn't notice that before… interesting idea. Not for me… but maybe now i'm starting to see what they think the market ...

Re: theremini
it looks pretty poxy to me… I've been planning on buying my first Theremin to use for CV control, after seeing this, nothing has changed, I'm still getting an etherwave :p If they absolutely HAVE to make it like that then maybe take it back to the shop, turn that white plastic into carbon fibre or b...

Re: COMING NAMM 2014
Looks like the 37 still has more knobs than keys, just like the Sub Phatty
Sweetwater says the count is at 37 keys, 40 knobs and 74 switches..

Re: COMING NAMM 2014
Will a chanting mob lynch me if a dare to venture running a soft synth through an audio in for analogue processing and playing it with with MIDI from the same Moog device (e.g. Sub 37)?

Re: COMING NAMM 2014
a Sine Wave on one of the LFO's would be nice.. hopefully by may we'll have that CV out.
it'd be nice if they could fit a ribbon controller on, but I thinking it probably won't happen..

Re: No audio in ableton
Yup thats the one. Don't worry, you're not the first person to assume that a Moog synth supports Audio over USB. If you don't already have an audio interface but your rig/laptop has an audio line input you could probably whack an adapter on and use until you can get an interface, not sure what your ...

Re: COMING NAMM 2014
Its so beautiful… Shame its not shipping with CV out, but everything else is a winner… Amos - buddy, pal, mate, if you put shuffle on the Sub 37 Arp could you please also put it into the Taurus 3 arp… and if it's it not to much to ask, while you're in there, can we add another option to make the arp...

Re: COMING NAMM 2014
I'm pretty stoked on that look, the black face, amber lights, wood sides and silver back will match my taurus 3 quite nicely i think… perfectly, actually.

Re: No audio in ableton
What are you sending the audio into? What interface? Is that input setup to receive the correct kind of signal? EG: Line level not Mic level.
The fact that you're getting white noise is a bit strange :/

Re: COMING NAMM 2014
Thanks for the preview Moog, it's hard for us Aussies to get to NAMM.. Looking good, I was thinking of trying to score myself one of the last LP Stage II's (still might.. Bobs last and Cyrils first synth, right? that's some interesting heritage..) to compliment my Taurus 3. Now I may need to wait an...
