Re: Sub37 won't sync to MachineDrum or anything else

 ok, I realised this morning, that when I tested with the BSP last night I was using the wrong midi cable, So I tried again this morning and got it working. But then I switched back to direct with machine drum and it worked too, even though it DEFINITELY wasn't working last night.... There'...

Re: Sub37 won't sync to MachineDrum or anything else

I have a patch which is latched to sequencer. So the minute you hit a keys (without holding), it starts playing. The machinedrum always sends clock whether playing or not, but all my tests were with it playing. The BSP only sends clock if it is playing. I'll try investigating holding a key instead o...

Sub37 won't sync to MachineDrum or anything else

Hey guys I'm in need of help. I've been working on this ages, initially trying to use midi din from Arturia Beat Step Pro to send external clock to sub37. And regardless of preset, I'm expecting the sub37 to sync. This worked on and off. I decided the BSP is so buggy I have to take it out of the cha...

Re: Sub 37 - External sync & LFO

HALP!!! :x I am having a hell of a time trying to get the Lfo clock divider and arp bpm to sync to my external source! I'm using the machine drum, through the beat step pro, out to the sub 37. It seems to be receiving clock, but getting the Lfo to sync to it, changing on the half beat is killing me!...

Re: Sub 37 - External sync & LFO

Sorry, ini ally found it - I was doing the right thing, just hadn't realised, the sync button on the arp WILL sync to external. Sorry,dumb... Late night hams not a good idea sometimes. Hopefully this chat will remind me, the behaviour of the sync won't change unless you do actually plus in an extern...

Re: Sub 37 - External sync & LFO

I can't find how to get the moog to sync externally, in the manual it's almost like they're saying, just plug in an external line. It must be something really obvious because I can't see it in the midi or global menus. I'm hoping it's not a per preset function again like the LP, such a pain to chang...

Re: Sub 37 - External sync & LFO

I have the sme / similar question. I want LFO 1 rate to sync to external midi clock. I'm hoping there's a quick and dirty way to do this?   I should say the sync button gave me really weird response... Twisting the Arp rate knob, I seemed to be getting much faster and a doubling u...

Re: sub37 Editor/Librarian How long also needs to be able to

I'm really looking forward to updating to the new firmware, I've not had the time as yet, and the sound editor/librarian for sure will take a long time, but I just hope it's full featured and fun to use. The editors for every synth seem to come out well after the hardware release, and often the soft...

Re: Using foot bass pedalboard with little phatty etc.

Hmmm thanks guys! I'll start testing, if I'm stuck I might ask advice! It's not clear in the manual (unsurprisingly) whether all the features will work with a non-Hammond.

Using foot bass pedalboard with little phatty etc.

Hey guys, So I may have mentioned I'm super dumb when it comes to midi. And the thrill I got the other day when my Korg microsampler was triggering my newly midi'd monotribe was almost embarrassing! Anyway I came across a Hammond XPK-100 midi pedal board for a steal and I've always wanted to run my ...

Re: 1.1.0 is now here!

Exciting! Looking forward to my "new" Moog! As I've said repeatedly, love you guys! Hope you make some tutorial videos on features/tricks that can be performed on the sub 37 now. No one understands these things as well as you, and it could be an opportunity to demonstrate how the Sub works...

It'll come when it's ready and not before. As it should be. I don't want to brick my nicest synth!

Re: sub37 version 1.1 release date?

I notice the sub37 manual is no longer for sale, so I'll speculate it's because of the update... Perhaps an updated manual will be a possibility.

Set mod wheel as filter cutoff - sub37

Apparently I'm not as smart as I thought I was, and I have NO idea how to set the mod wheel as my filter cutoff for my preset. I thought I'd find it under the "controller" menu but I guess I don't really understand it. Help! I should say I have figured out how to assign mod whl, but filt r...
