You have a ground loop issue. Good luck chasing those gremlins!

Re: What's with the sticker thing?

Over the years, I have registered many items. Sometimes a sticker shows up, sometimes one doesn't. It is a nice little piece of swag at any rate.

Re: What polysynth to go along with a Voyager?

I sold of my JX3P a while ago as it was too limited. I find that my VFX-SD is the best poly with the Voyager for me. (And I have that and a Fizmo, a Tg33, U220, U20, Hammond and Piano.) Found the Blofeld to not play well nor did the Nord G1.

Re: Thinking of selling my Sonic Six... talk me out of it !

Most folks I know that had a six and sold it have regreted it later. I did not. I used it to learn synthesis but the sound, however cool, was never part of "my" soundset. (And I sold it and bought a 2600. Didn't need to look back)
You could buy a REAL oddy with the money from a Sonic Six.

Re: "The Operating System Has To Be Reloaded."

You will need to borrow a MIDI setup then. It is asking for it because something got corrupted, most likely.

Re: Should I Buy Used or New??

I've only bought one Fooger and the VX new. The Voyager and 9 other Foogers used. I have no problems with them. Test them when you buy them.

Reload the entire OS from the Moog support page in the order it says to do it on that site. It is not intuitive the order.

Re: signature voyagers...

I was just curious as I bought mine a few years ago on fleabay. Love it, but would like to send it home for the aftertouch upgrade. Didn't know they were the first made.

Were the Signature Edition Voyagers the first voyagers or was there a version before/concurrent with them?

Re: Moog to release modules this year

In MU, with DotCom power plug, I would buy a filter. About the only module I would want from them. Unless they came up with a state variable filter, too.

Re: Voyager's LFO ouptut voltage

But, you can put a bridge rectifier chip inside the end of a patch cable and make a rectifier cable or put a rectifier in a small experimenter case with a couple of 1/4" jacks. (Use a bigger box and make a rectifier, passive attenuator, mult box. Whatever you desire. Easy stuff with no circuit ...
