Aha, that makes sense! So long as the Beatbuddy folks aren't mad
I like that you keep it live though - it does feel more real and there is always the chance for some mishap magic to happen.

Re: BeatBuddy Drums with Sub 37 - Video
Hi Dan, My respect for you runs deep. You are a fountain of knowledge and an indespensible source of advice regarding all things synth, Moog and probably all things moosic too. I am very grateful for the help and support you have provided me with and really appreciate you being around on this forum....

Re: Sub37 Preset Best Practices
As above, I have begun to populate the empty preset slots from BANK16 backwards from the end (no.16) with starting point presets to suit particular needs. So far I have one for routing another synth in through the 37's Audio Input, one for Drums being sent into the Audio Input, one for Step-Sequenci...

Re: Sub37: No problem here :-)
Precisely that! I have imaginary plans for saving up until I can afford a Voyager XL. I hope they still make it in one or two years (currently, I'm totally broke :-/). Trying to sell stuff to shorten the wait :-) . Tell me about it. I too am hoping that these things are still going to be available ...

Re: Sub37: No problem here :-)
A beautifull instrument in every way - sonically superb and built to last. If you wan't to save yourself some money don't audition this one. Even the Mrs approves of it! Another vote for Moog support too - best. Only problem for me is that it has sparked a serious lust for more Moog. I'm drea...

Is the ground lift a feature of the RadialPro unit or is it something you must perform yourself?

Re: Sub37 LFO RANGES!? Low setting..
Aha! Thanks Amos. Very cool indeed.
Maybe holding the "HI RANGE" button for a moment could be a possible solution, with a blinking LED to indicate the 3rd option? Just throwing it out there lol.
So great to know that theres still more goodness to come!

Thanks BaldEagle!
I guess it's like keytracking then - with lower notes causing slower modulation and higher notes speeding it up?

Re: Sub37 LFO RANGES!? Low setting..
The manual on p19 seems to have been corrected in my revision stating the normal range to be 0.1Hz - 100Hz - The "three" available settings LOW, MED, HIGH are shown on several pages 44,47 explicitly and 49 implicitly where it describes 3 values for CC99. Strangely it does not make any refe...

Mod Sources OSC1/2 PCH?
I've been playing around with the Programmable Mod Sources but can't seem to fathom how the OSC1 or OSC2 PITCHES work as a MOD sources?
I understand that it is not FM but how does the Pitch of the OSC create modulation?

Sub37 LFO RANGES!? Low setting..
In the manual on p19 it states the LFO RATE as default varies from 0.1Hz up to 100Hz but can be multiplied by 10x if the HIGH RANGE is selected to give 1Hz to 1000Hz. On p44 it is stated that both LFO1RNG and LFO2RNG can be modulated through three settings (LOW,MED,HIGH) On p47 it is again explained...

Re: Can a Sub 37 sound like this..?
Yep! Either the Micro or Minibrute are a nice compliment to the Sub37. I have just been playing around with using the Minibrute as a 3rd Oscillator to the 37 and it works very nicely indeed - definitely adds that extra phasing which was missing from the 2 OSC tone.
