Re: sub 37 wobbly pots

Less than one month Sub37, what I noticed: - - the Filter Frequency knob has a "huge" friction (which I like, and sure it will get loose with usage)...particularly compared to the same knob in the SubPhatty. - sounds like you have one of the new revised V2 Sub 37's with the revised intern...

Re: Moog Sub 37 urgent help needed

hi nimar, in the old days, power supplies in synths were specific to the country they were purchased in. They were set for 110v, 60hz, or 220v 50hz, for example depending on the country. maybe you have a minimoog or something like that and are confused because your new Sub37 is different. these days...

Re: Sub 37 - Non-Tribute Edition?

i would be REALLY surprised if they removed the screen for the non-tribute. thats a big dis-advantage. and a big waste of a lot of programming they did to run the screen and makes it less intuitive, patch naming will be gone etc. i doubt this very much. i would say it will just be silver with black ...

Re: [Sub 37] High pitched noise when off

sounds like a capacitor in the power supply is unhappy man (if its high pitched)...its not normal. mine is completely silent when off. are you saying the noise is happening through the outputs? or is it actually coming from the unit when you put your ear close to it? each will point to a different i...

Re: Garbage concert

awsome to hear...but they coulda used any old digital rubbish, say a Jupiter 80 if all they wanted to do is trigger sequences. what a waste of the Sub37 beast

Re: Sub 37 Filter Cutoff: First Batch vs. Revised Batch

disappointing to hear this. It certainly should have been replaced with the metal knob. Did you request this to be the case specifically? perhaps because it was not repaired by Moog in the USA but your local distributor is why this happened? i sure would not accept this. But thats just me....You wil...

Re: Sub 37 - Keyboard quality and playability

i have a feeling that you only feel the difference in springs between the black and white keys if you actually use more than one finger to play a synth...which is why its never bothered me in the Sub 37 hehe but if what everyone is saying is true about the same spring thing for blacks and whites...t...

Re: Sub37 - Resonance knob failure

wow this is disappointing to hear. i havent had any other pots fail other than the filter cutoff which most others have had a problem with also, i suspect its only because this is the most-used pot so its failed first. but i have always been worried that the others will fail shortly afterwards, the ...

you dont have to pull anything apart to do my suggestion...just hook a finger underneath the front of a key on the synth and give the key a bit of a nudge upwards....

Re: Sub 37 - Keyboard quality and playability

my keyboard looks fine to me. straight enough for me not to notice a problem. and i noticed that many of my Prophet 6 knobs were wonky/off center when turned almost immediately...so im reasonably pedantic. if you open up the keyboard, i mean really pull it apart, each key has felt underneath the fro...
