Would anyone else love to see 'foogers in Eurorack format?
I know I may catch grief for this… But, does anyone else think it would be a great idea for Moog to offer Moogerfoogers and/or Minifoogers in the Eurorack format? As someone who has been dreaming of entering the modular world for years, but never quite had the finance or real estate, the Eurorack fo...

Here are a couple of my lo-fi jams relying heavily on the Sub 37 and the 104m(Gods greatest pedal). Fun stuff..... -Mike https://soundcloud.com/seven-legged-octopus/chalcedony https://soundcloud.com/seven-legged-octopus/agate Excellent jams. Definitely following you on SoundCloud now. Well done, sir.

Re: Need General Moog Synth Info Please
The new Sequential Circuits Prophet 6 looks pretty amazing…seems to have a bit more analog flavor than the DSI line (I'm assuming because it doesn't have DCOs). Surely, someone on the forum has one by now, and they could share their opinion. If I had the money, I'd have bought one already, even if I...

Re: MoogerFooger Question
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think "discontinued" just means that manufacturing has ceased. The product will continue to sell as long as inventory remains.

Re: Little Phatty - infinite sustain
Are you using any MIDI (IN, OUT, THRU)? I have had the dreaded stuck-note dilemma a few times before. Once, it was a bad MIDI cable. Another time it was an issue between the DAW and the interface, and another time it was simply the MIDI controller. Have you tested it with only an audio-out ca...

Re: live rig: Sub37 through Minifoogers
Very cool, Stiiiiiiive. Honestly, I've tried many many different pedals (overdrive, fuzz, distortion) including several with actual tubes (tried 2 different VOX pedals too), but I could never quite get the tone even remotely close to what I get with the AC15 (perhaps like you with your particular de...

Re: live rig: Sub37 through Minifoogers
Thanks for the love. Moogprog, you'll likely be glad you did. I have certainly conjured some very unconventional sounds from the Nord. One fun little trick I use for tone: In addition to the Motion Sound amps (KP500 + SW250), which handle the main outs from the line mixer, I also use one of the mixe...

live rig: Sub37 through Minifoogers
In the endless quest to streamline my live rig, I decided to go with a Minifooger fx chain instead of the Moogerfoogers I'd previously been using (don't worry I didn't have to sell them, they're making their way into my Voyager studio setup). It's only been a few days of experimenting, but I'...

Re: Noob. Did I damage my equipment?
Well, you certainly didn't damage your Moog  I seriously doubt you did any harm to your interface. Our band uses an m-audio pro-fire to record our writing sessions, and we redline the hell out of it. The only downside is the recording may clip or distort, or just completely blowout. As fo...

If you can get your hands on a used Motion Sound amp, they sound incredible. One in your price range showed up in a quick search. Here's the link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Motion-Sound-KeyPro-KP-200S-200-Watt-Stereo-Keyboard-Amplifier-KP200S-/191548652523?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2c99307beb

Very cool, Me Mushroom. Delightful harmonics and textures. Both you and Croyote have discovered some interesting tones in your exploration of the MuRF. I'm now following the two of you on Soundcloud.
Plus, now I'm excited to get home and play with my MuRF
