Given the extent of the damage, I wouldn't pay anything for it. Return it if you can and spend a little extra to get one in decent shape. Good luck!

You would have to "driveover" the MURF to damage it. Like with your car or something.

It could be worse - you could have duophonic nucleosis!

Audio out from the Prodigy and the noise out from the CP-251 would both need to be run through the same VCA and controlled by the same EG to do what you want.

In other words, feed the CP-251 into the Prodigy, not the other way around.

The fc7 works fine with MoogerFoogers. It's metal and rubber and is much more durable than the Roland or Moog pedals, but all work just fine as long as you're not beating on it. They're all about the same price.

It's part of the charm of analog delays. If you want perfect replicas at long delay times, that's what digital delays are good at.

Maybe it's the normalling. Have you tried patching the noise directly into the S&H instead of relying on the normalling? Does it make any change in level?

FWIW, that "Nu_Vacuumer" patch is probably a variation of the "hoover" (get it?) patch made famous by the Roland Juno1/2/mks-50. It has that same rising pitch as the Hoedown patch.

"I'm just trying to think what other modules would be best to go along with a sequencer." A frequency/clock divider and a module with logic functions (AND, OR, etc.) make great additions. You can set up more complex rhythms using these. "The internal oscillator is for clocking the seq...

It's basically the same thing as a sequencer.

Instead of having a clock sequentially step through each stage, you manually select the stage. Each stage corresponds to a preset patch. When that stage is selected, it outputs several voltages (one for each parameter of the patch).

To put it as simple as possible, an analog sequencer outputs a voltage based on the knob (or slider) position. If you plug the output into a VCO, the VCO changes pitch based on the voltages the sequncer outputs. The clock advances the sequencer from one step to the next. You can, of course, plug the...
