Sounds cool, great bass line. The rogue is one of those synths that I probably read every single review or article that exists on line but never actually found any sound files for. Do you have any other things recorded with the rogue, even just noodling around with it? I'd sure like to hear it or i...

Thanks all! I'm pretty happy with how this track is turning out, though I'm having trouble with the next section. Gonna sit on it for a while and work on other (non-music) stuff that has to get done! In the meantime, I tweaked the synth volume levels just a bit, and jacked up the overall track volum...

I'd actually be kind of surprised if Moog used a name that has such obvious drug-culture connotations. It's gotta be a temporary name they're using around the factory...

I love my Rogue

Despite the scaling problems and scratchy filter sliders! Anyway, I've been working on a tune and put some Rogue on it - first time I've pulled out the synth in months! The tune is called "Next to Last," at least for now. Drums recorded during a jam last summer, Tune 8-string bass and reis...

+1 on the low-pass filter. if you can overdrive the harmonica before putting it through the filter you might be able to get some more extreme effects.

First, just let me say how much I've enjoyed your paintings - the dyptichs & triptychs espescially!! I think you have me confused with that other guy - he spells his name with only one "o"... Is the Memory Lane guy talking about the recent Moog expression pedals or vintage ones? I've ...

I heard that Lowell George of Little Feat used to record jams, and then splice the tape apart to create new odd-time riffs. I seem to remember someone else talking about splicing lots of tape recently, but can't remember who. Frank Zappa did it a lot as well. I remember - it was in the documentary a...

Wait, isn't the pedal that's made in Italy the current Moog expression pedal? The big old ones would have to be bought used...

Three years ago I tried a Line6 expression pedal with my MF-101, and it didn't work. Take your Moogerfooger into Guitar Center or something and try it out. But if you're going to be using both at the same time then you'll need two pedals anyway...

I guess another question is: What kind of sounds are you looking for? The possibilities are almost limitless. I think that's why it's hard for people here to make suggestions, because we're not sure what it is that you want to do! Also, I'm not sure how many people here play drums through their moog...

What instrument are you using them with? Drums? If you aren't using any instrument with them, then use the MF-101 low-pass filter, turn the volume on your amplifier down, crank the resonance to 10 so that you have a sound to work with. Then put the audio signal through the other pedals to see what t...
