Re: Upgrading from OS to New School
The backlight can be turned completely off when the brightness knob is fully counterclockwise. Underneath the mod wheel assembly, there is already a switch provided to turn the mod wheel LEDs off. My backlight doesn't turn off, even at completely counter-clockwise. In fact it's quite noticeable eve...

Re: Any news about the small gift for Voyager owners?
Is a sticker really the 'small gift' we get? We get a sticker when we register any Moog products and give feedback on them... I was sort of hoping for something a bit different and actually related to the Voyager Anniversary type theme, something unique for Voyager owners, not something every Moog p...

All good here
Whew! Thankfully it was an issue with the power-supply/wall-wart. I can make BASS again! I must say, I have found Moog's customer support to be exemplary, but that does not surprise me, it matches their exemplary products, yes, My name is Cameron and I'm an unashamed Moog fan-boy!

Minitaur unresponsive - issue solved!
I finally got my iodock ipad2 adapter today and was getting some sequences using Phaedra going via the 5-pin DIN midi-out into the minitaur MIDI in... I was listening to it back through my headphones in the iodock, had the Minitaur output plugged into the io docks input 1 (line level input) and it w...

Re: Post your latest purchase!!
A dehumidifier for my home studio :x uncovered every thing the other day and found my SH-101 covered in mold  Cleaned off easy enough... but I defiantly do not want a repeat of this again! thank god it was not the Moog! It can get pretty humid in Queensland, but at least it's usually warmer t...

Thanks Stiiiiiiive! Work & family life has been so busy the last few months that I have not had much energy for anything else, but I'm on holidays now! The challenge is not to waste the time I have!

Re: Voyager Editor questions
I hope it is (free) for your sake too! I downloaded the trial and found I could barely do anything much with it on my laptop as the UI didn't scale...so I knew I wasn't going to invest in it from the start. Just waiting to see what comes out in the future.

Re: Minitaur USB dropout
Mmm, yes I read that, I was thinking he could use a USB to MIDI interface, but I suppose that option will only help him with midi in on the Minitaur as there is no midi out... (but at least he would be able to play it from a usb equiped controller or from a DAW) thus making it not as useless to him....

Re: Minitaur USB dropout
After installing the firmware update I am still getting USB Midi drop outs. I am using Ableton Live 8 on a Windows 7 laptop. I got the minitaur solely because of the USB capabilities so this is very upsetting to me. The drop outs seem to occur when messing with the LFO while notes are being played....

Re: Voyager Editor questions
I wouldn't be surprised if Moog release a new editor/librarian for the Voyager in the not too distant future, hopefully with as good an interface as the Minitaur's editor.
