Re: not to stir up trouble, but...

So the voyager sounds nothing like a model d but a source sounds just like one? This thread confuses me. :?:

Re: Thread for MF-108 pics/recordings

Before I got the 108, I had the 101,102,104 and 107. These produced a little bit of noise that really annoyed me. Now, when there is no doubt much more noise, Im actually a little relieved. Its like I dont have to worry about it anymore. Whenever I pay attention to the noise, I smile and think &quo...

Re: Micky Dolenz Moog

You synth geeks! It doesnt matter if its patched properly, the monkees faked pretty much everything musical they did. :D cool video though. They used pretty good session musicians for their tracks.

Re: Shoes and playing style

For me there are pros and cons to socks. You can use the edit buttons with your toes but for me the pedals slip between my toes too much to play accurately or wih any speed. A slender flat shoe works well for now. I think some type of grippy bottom sock might be ideal. I usually play sitting down an...

Re: STS-135 landed today; Polar Ice Old School lands tomorro

Your os is awesome, thanks for sharing! What is r47 for? Also, any idea why the os isn't calibrated for 1v/oct? That detail has always bothered me. Seems like it should be. So do you mind I I ask how much it set you back? I've been thinking about getting the legato upgrade on my os. But seriously th...

Re: Taurus 3 with effects

Interesting stuff! I like running the t3 through my mf-101 just to have quick access to some quackiness or to roll back the cutoff. Honestly so far i prefer the t3 without any effects. Its just so rich and full sounding it doesnt need much help. I still want to try a nice delay though :D One thing t...

Taurus 3 with effects

Its so quiet around here so i thought i would start a new thread. I picked up a new taurus 3 a few weeks back. I have been so entertained with it that pretty much all i do is stomp on it and turn the encoder. What a sound! My neighbors like it too! :D I havent even tried it with effects yet until to...

Re: Taurus 3 owner's list

Thats awesome! Despite the possibility that production may continue, I decided not to wait and picked up a set a few weeks ago. All I can say is wow. BASS!

Re: "Huge" New Project?

Uh... well... if that stuff bothers you then thats cool. I just thought that taking a new website design to the level of brain washing propaganda was blowing it out of proportion. I grow so weary of internet forums where things get blown out of proportion all the time. Its a big part of the reason i...

Re: "Huge" New Project?

While i dont disagree with what is being discussed overall, cmon. Really? Its just a new website design. I think it looks pretty sharp. Relax a bit. It doesnt look like moog has sold their souls. They are a good business trying to stay viable in a tough economic climate. Marketing is not inherently ...

Re: Steep learning curve with my Voyager OS

Thank you very much for your answers. It gives me a new hope. I like so much the look of the keyboard that I would just keep it as an ornament. But I am really looking forward to use it. Without presets, I'll need to learn some basic sound design. I will definitely reach out to you to discuss live....
