You can also buy or make 1/4 to 1/8 cables.
Using the adapers works well to though.

Re: Need General Moog Synth Info Please

The DX with a little work can do sone great analog like sounds. It's capable of a lot mire than the ones "over heard" in the 80's.

The reface is closer to the DX 9 since it's only 4 opperator snd not 6 like theDX7 but still has a lot of power.

Re: Need General Moog Synth Info Please

The DSI Prophet 08 and 12 are both very nice synths. The 08 has digitally controlled analog osc, while the 12 has digital osc and charecter section the path after is analog. The new Prophet 6 is a full analog path. The 12 has 4 osc and a bunch of modulation routing options, like the 08 and many synt...

Re: Share your synthesizer music!

An update would be nice, does quite a bit as it stands now, but some additions and refinements would be nice. With only having one primary programmer I think they do pretty well. I am a fan of DSI gear, lots of great features and work well with other synths. Did not use the Tempest on this but did u...

Animoog meets Beatstep

Just picked up the Arturia Beatstep. Fun box. I've also done a few quick tests on the Prophet 12. Very intuitive to use.

Re: A fully analog sequencer from Moog - that's what I want.

Take a look at the Darktime, while only two rows of eight steps it has a lot of power under the hood. Each row can run as two separate eight step sequences or as a single 16 step. Each step can be turned off, skipped or set to loop between two selected steps. Each row can be set to forward, backward...

Re: Share your synthesizer music!

The Prophet 12 works very well, it can sound warm and full or bright. It's a very tweakable synth and I think you will find it fits in well with your other synths. The prophet 08 is also worth a look.
