T3 Serial # Location?
I was logging in to my Moog user profile to check on a shirt order I placed (one for me and a few gifts). Noticed the place on my account for registered products was empty. Not sure if I forgot to register my T3 or if I did so under a different email address. So I was getting prepared to sort this o...

Re: That T3 weight..
I have to concur. I actually use my T3 for midrangey arps most of the time. I just kind of got in the habit of making patches that utilize the midi clock sync, and that awesome detune sound goes great with 8th or 16th arps. But every now and then I like to load a nice fat patch and just clean out th...

Re: Theremini?
I am curious if these "animoog presets" will be editable via USB/midi. Or if we can use patches created in Animoog on our ipads.

I wish they would at least release the sysex info so we can map it to various programs.

Taurus 3 funny behavior
First off, let me just say I've owned this T3 for a couple years now and it is still my favorite synth hands down (feet down?). Still finding new sounds in there, and just the hugeness of the sound is very hard to top! Now for the odd behavior. I'm on the most recent fw revision. Every now and then ...

Re: MP201 sysex implementation
Even beyond midiquest there are ways to construct interfaces with Max or even some DAW software that could be used to more easily edit the various params. Often when I start doing something new with my MP201 I end up in a deep hole of menu diving losing my changes by scrolling to a new preset (arggh...

Re: MP-201 free running values
It is kind of annoying that it cant sync to midi AND have internal sync. Effectively you have to be connected to a midi time source while you edit the presets. However my studio is bacically set up for playing, not editing patches. I dont even have a chair! I often take gear home with me so I can ed...

Re: Mp 201 value dail cursor enter problem
I had a similar experience with mine. I was going nuts with the value knob and the menu buttons.
I took it apart to see if I could replace the buttons, blew the dust out and reassembled it. Works fine now.

I guess midi it is.
You are totally blowing the 70's aesthetic I have going on in my studio though.

Re: Best speaker for Taurus/Minitaur
I have an old Traynor bass combo tube amp with a 15" Speaker that i am generally too scared to even turn up past "1" I have been collecting an array of earplugs in prepearation for the day I plug my Taurus in! Will keep you posted  Traynor is the shizzle! Some of the best amps I...

CV out MOD?
I know it's a lot to ask for a discontinued synth. But what is the possibility of getting a CV out mod?
It would be wicked to line up a MiniTaur or Slim Phatty with the Taurus. Sure it can be done by midi, but I tend to only use midi for timing, not notes.

Re: MP201 2.1
Okay I withdraw that addendum request. I spent the last week and a half dragging the MP201 with me to and from work, home and the studio. I finally have a handle on all the various parameters and features. I was just a it disoriented after the update, as I guess I am used to it being in quad mode no...

Re: Taurus Clock Divider
I think it needs an "initial/current/continuous" setting for the LFO such as the MP201 has. I gotta say I feel so priveleged and exclusive that I own two modern Moog pieces that are discontinued. (MP201 and T3) yet Moog continues to issue updates and such. I had a nice jam session last wee...

Re: Best speaker for Taurus/Minitaur
http://www.kineticaudio.com/ampeater.htm I can agree to some extent with what you say. However, I still don't get why hi-fi speaker companies are able to build speakers like the one in the link, and professional speakers, even the heavy ones with relatively low SPL, are sorely lacking in the 30Hz a...

Re: Ring Modulation Nation
Funny trick, I tried playing the carrier osc from my Roland Sh09, bringing it back into the Rolands aux in. Roland and Moog are supposed to be octave/volt right?
Non-musical results.
I wonder if there is a way to trim the carrier osc to be closer to the actual scale of notes?
