Re: Autotune for everyone

New firmware version 1.06 for the T908 AUTOTUNE released. The module provides two additional program functions now: "P4": SAVE EEPROM: The control voltage offset list which is currently in use for an e.g. 901 VCO can be saved in the module permanent storage EEPROM. "P5": LOAD EEP...

Re: Autotune for everyone

I've just uploaded the next demo video: Playing the 901 VCO with and without support of the T908 Autotune module. As I ran out of space in my modular cabinets I opened my third modular system (the T908 looks a bit lonesome in it  ) The lonesome rider Anyway, it controles my untuned and unsc...

There seems to be a pattern with InMusic, destroying any kind of legitimacy, innovation and spirit that used to remain in the brands they acquire.

Edit: the Moog 904c should output audio.
All of them do. Mine as well.

Re: Ever-So-Slight Hum Coming from Model 15 Reissue?

Yes, try it.

If that does not help: I had the same problem in one of my modular cabinets. I replaced the transformer with a toroidal transformer, and the hum vanished.

Re: Ever-So-Slight Hum Coming from Model 15 Reissue?

Is it part of the audio signal / disturbing the audio signal or just a hum from the power transformer?

Re: InMusic Blows.

... Same. I've been trying to find a 904c for 30 years. If Moog decided to sell individual modules now, I'd pass. When I started to clone the System 55, I thought the 904c is not that interesting, as it just serializes and parallelizes the 904a and 904b, so I cloned it just for completion. But I wa...

Re: Autotune for everyone

Current development progress of the T908 firmware: Yesterday I completed version 1.0 - Now you can select and invoke three different run modes / functions of the T908: 1.) "P1": AUTOTUNE Full Run: That's what you see in the demo. 5 Octaves (c0 - c5) are scanned and compared to the internal...

Yes, LOL, my fault

I use German notation for displaying the notes. I've not "internationalized" the software yet

Re: Model 10+15 Oscillator Tracking

Done :D Yesterday I completed my T908 AUTOTUNE module. See my post Autotune for everyone It is able to auto correct a 901(B) which is totally out of tune and out of scale. It can be added to any modular system as stand alone module and take over the control over detuned VCOs, so you don't have to ta...

Re: Choosing between Model 10 and 15

The other major advantage to 921s is Pulse Width Modulation. 901s only have fixed/manual pulse width. But they are magic sounding. I have 2 vintage abbb sets and you'd have to pry them from my cold dead hands... Ah yes, that is a huge advantage, indeed...big fan of PWM. It is quite easy to add PWM ...

Autotune for everyone

As already announced some time ago I decided to develop a module for auto tuning VCO modules which don't have an integrated autotune function built in as the Memorymoog or some Oberheim synths have. Inspiration came from the discussions here in the forum concerning tuning stability of modular system...

Re: What is your favorite Moog synthesizer and why?

System 55, IIP, IIIP. My hero Isao Tomita squeezed a complete classic orchestra out of those modulars. Cloning the System 55 gave me many insights in modular systems and how powerful they are.

Re: Minimoog Voyager Presets Problem

Can you change or store parameters in the "defect" preset banks / slots? Or are those slots "read only" in the sense of user interaction, not in the sense of factory reset? If there are presets which work, and others don't, I assume the EEPROM(s) is / are defect.
