Excellent response, i think that's a feature that Bob'd be proud of.

Re: Sub 37 updated release date ?
Just for a bit of context I think Australia is expecting our first shipment in mid August.. (Supplier is AWave/Audiochocolate) Thinking of trying to track down an On Stage Z-Stand for it in the meantime, do a Voltor and whack my T3 between its legs.. (maybe a dual layer.. I harbour delusions of play...

Im terrified of getting a modular thing going on.. got a bit of an addictive personality, i'd get myself into trouble.
"Here, try this LFO module, the first one's free"
6 months later.. i'm found dead under a pile of patch cables..
I think i'll stick with performance synths

Re: Envelope Opening Noise - Minitaur
EMwhite, that was very enlightening and makes perfect sense. Presumably this is the same thing that can cause clicking with very fast (eg: microsecond not millisecond) attack times on an analogue gate then? I knew that fast attack times etc could cause clicks/artefacts, but never really put to much ...

Re: That T3 weight..
Thought this was going to be about the 26kg this beast weighs. Sadly I have yet to hear mine through a PA. One day I hope. hahaha, ambiguity is the spice of the english language.. like a pleasing dissonance  francesco - thanks for sharing, I thoroughly enjoyed reading that and the picture it ...

That T3 weight..
So.. the entire time i've owned my T3 (on our way to a our 2nd anniversary ;) ) I've been pretty darn impressed with it's "oomph" down low.. Likewise the entire time I owned my T3 I've heard how you really need to get it on a decent sized rig before it's true girth becomes apparent. I gott...

Re: Output sockets on Taurus 3
Yes, you can do this.
I run one output through a bunch of FX boxes and one output goes clean straight into the back of my interface at my home studio when i'm recording.

Re: Building a Home Studio
The Focusrite Liquid Saffire 56 isn't a "pedigree" system in that something like a RME Fireface or maybe a UAD Apollo will sound a bit better, but it is very well equipped one lots of digital I/O so you can add some really nice kit to it down the track via ADAT if you like, full complement...

Re: Building a Home Studio
there is no point spending big bucks on an instrument and then cheaping out on the rest of the signal chain… just don't. you need to ask yourself a few questions, here are couple of them.. 1) USB or Firewire? 2) How many inputs do i need? and what kinds? do I need mic pres or mostly just line ins? 3...

Re: Taurus 3 firmware update - v2.0.3
Oh yes that'd be lovely. I've had some MIDI issues with mine that i've reported to Amos and was told would be dealt with.. haven't heard anything from Moog since then mind you so hopefully it's made it through.. I've been tossing around some ideas for some more performance features in this thread he...

Re: MIDI Controller for Taurus 3
I've also had trouble getting my T3 responding to MIDI properly.. but currently it's my only synth so I don't have much to compare it too..
an update for the T3 is around the corner and i've reported some of the MIDI issues i've been having to Amos, so fingers crossed.

Re: Oscillator phasing
I don't suppose anyone here has the technical background to tell me if this could be done with any of the modern moog synths with some Firmware changes, or is this the sort of feature that requires supporting hardware also? Sorry, it's probably an inspiringly dumb question to some of you but I'd sti...
