Re: Why aren't these features implemented?
You already have FM. Use VCO2 to modulate VCO1 or the filter.

Re: Annoying electrical noise from Slim Phatty output-
Is it just hiss or is it ground noise/digital hash?
Hiss is just a function of the audio circuitry and should be pretty constant (and low) in level.
Noise from bad grounds, like hum or fizzy clock noises is a completely different sort of problem.

Re: LP + CP-251 Question About White Noise.
Actually I think there is a way but it's a bit complicated. It requires a second generation CP with the attenuators that can invert signal polarity. DISCLAIMER: I have no CP, but I have done this sort of patch on a modular before. 1. Create a low pass noise patch on the Phatty. 2. Patch Phatty outpu...

Re: Newbie Editor Questions
I'm not sure how you could use multiple instances, Phatty is a monophonic synth. You need to commit your current track to audio before using it on another track, right? Other synths with VST editors (Virus, Motif XS/XF, Korg M3/Kronos) are multitimbral so a single instance can drive multiple audio t...

Re: Newbie Editor Questions
Well, I went ahead and bought the Rekon editor. I'm not crazy about it's librarian features (which is what I will use the most) but it will do the job.
Is v2.10 the latest, if not where do I dl a newer version?

Re: Newbie Editor Questions
I have the SoundTower demo but can't find a Rekon demo, is there one? I'm quite familiar with SoundTower, their Evolver editor caused me to lose a whole bank of patches    Now I doublecheck the saved file size and do a raw sysex dump as a backup  Anyone using the Rekon as sta...

Newbie Editor Questions
OK, I see Moog seling two flavors of editor for the Phattys...both $69 but I understand one is from SoundTower (I own/use their DSI Evolver editor) and one from Rekon? I want to get the right one  I'm on a MacBook Pro, OS 10.6.8, Ableton Live. I can live with a standalone since my other HW ed...

Hello--New User
My Slim Phatty arrives today, I'm really excited to finally have my own Moog 40 years after finding a Mini in my college physics lab.
I'm sure I'll have plenty of dumb questions to post soon
Other hardware: Yamaha Motif XF, DSI Evolver
