Re: Show us your mounted golden knob!

weird... that you didn't get yours... still? ~ I got 1 (one) gold knob quite awhile ago here in Toronto although I actually have a second Voyager~ an Electric Blue and a White XL so perhaps there's a 50-50 chance? With what is happening in Australia these days, I hope yours didn't melt in the mail o...

Re: Minitaur firmware update soon - your requests here pleas

until somebody official from Moog can advise you otherwise I would recommend simply reading the step by step commands to send your MINITAUR~ "ERASE" and "UPDATE" FirmWare sysesx files ~and then try running the note calibration again Hello all, My Minitaur seems to be severely out...

Re: Minitaur + Logic - LFO rate sets solo on / off

another EZ workaround is sending CV to control the LFO instead of using the knob it's a LOGIC issue you can set MIDI Input filter settings two ways within Logic Easy filtering: Settings > MIDI > Input Filter,to filter out ALL MIDI CCs, including mod wheel, rotary knobs etc... Custom filtering: cable...

Re: Minitaur firmware update soon - your requests here pleas

REV 2 certainly isn't broken for me. Except where noted e.g. the Latency in a recent firmware update I'm not experiencing any of your troubles. AT ALL! If I save a sound it stays saved and sounds the same when I play it again... so yeah, it's MAGIC! However, just because it works for me doesn'...

Re: Winter NAMM 2014 ..rumours?

There is no way Moog would ever go eurorack, it's just not their style. i agree with this! highly doubtful and not in anybody's interest really except rumour merchants And I have tried a doepfer eurorack, it is not that great. It gets cluttered fast, and the knobs can be awkward. I think modular sy...

Re: Sub Phatty or Minitaur & SP

The Minitaur REV 2 is mostly about the free ED/LIBRARIAN software and allowing you to save more presets in the hardware~ so doesn't really make the Minitaur _sound_ different then when you already had it ~ other than opening up more options in CV mapping. Ideally you could find a place to play both ...

Re: Minitaur firmware update soon - your requests here pleas

NOT MUCH USEABLE? and you guys are calling ME names? FYI ~ unless noted otherwise e.g. for a recent track with a tag "SubPhatty Bass" posted for somebody asking about it another thread in the Voyager forum almost every track on my SoundCloud (in other words Several DAYS worth!) features Mi...

Re: categorising presets

If you have the latest* Voyager firmware update installed you can scroll through all the sounds in a category by pushing the two buttons under the LCD at the same time then hitting an arrow button right or left ~ check the update dox for actual key names & step-by-step method * at least a few ye...

Re: Creating Chords with a Voyager

Yes, Stiiiiiiiiiiiiiive is right. You can simply tune the 3 oscillators to play a chord ~ check out the factory presets for a few examples eg. I think there's one called "Minor Interval" ~ "MAJORWERK" is another I once set my Voyager Old School oscilators to play a major chord, a...

Re: Winter NAMM 2014 ..rumours?

Cool! How does it handle in water? Can it fly? Maybe we won't have to buy return airfare! I just hope I'll be wearing a pair of MOOGle Glass when I get behind the wheel of my CVmobile. 8) I heard they were making a Moog car. It has no steering wheel, only a single 1/4' jack. The steering can b...

Re: Any love for the Minitaur?

Don't we all ??? am I just hearing what I want to justify the purchase? I've read that Kraftwerk made their first and arguably best LPs with a Minimoog, an ARP Oddysey and a Clavinet. ( I think it was in Wolfgang Flur' "I WAS ROBOT" bio) I'm sure there are many more examples of minimal gea...

Re: Winter NAMM 2014 ..rumours?

Hmmm, that's exciting! ~ Do you mean the "unreleased" instrument that Engineer VIP pass holders build? If it's "unreleased" at Moogfest - it doesn't make sense they would be unveiling it at NAMM 3-4 months earlier. There has been mentions of a new instrument related to Moogfest, ...

Winter NAMM 2014 ..rumours?

Is anybody going to Anaheim in January? What are you excited to see this year?
The only MOOG-related Winter NAMM 2014 rumour I came across so far suggested they would be entering the eurorack modular market which is something I find very hard to believe.
