Hi Stevie,
yeah I think a software update of the keyboard controller can fix it. But you need an adapter for the update.

Re: Voyager stuck note when glissando slide on black keys
Hi Rick,
do you have the same problem on MIDI-In with a master keyboard?

Re: Access problem?
Hi,
pressing CURSOR and ENTER jumps to the next preset with the same category (backwards).
If you can't change the banks then I guess you have an old Voyager without the memory expansion.

Hi GD,electrojoe wrote:Hi RL,
What should they be, for that firmware then?
leave them (115KOhms/1%) and change resistors R1, R32 and R72 (1MOhms/1%) to 249kOhms/1% on the voice cards.

Hi moreloud,
I can't recommend the autotune update cause the 17.4 kOhm resistors on the DMUX board are wrong and as long as you do not eliminate the bugs of the MM you will not get a better synth.

Re: SysEx update 3.5 fails (and Did I just brick my Voyager?
the Bank A fails at the very end with the "System Exclusive Transfer has failed" message. It seems strange that it seems to copy just fine until the end That's normal cause at the end of the transfer the Voyager checks the bytes and then you get a message when the cecksum is wrong. Are th...

Re: SysEx update 3.5 fails (and Did I just brick my Voyager?
Hi square_wave, OK power on the Voyager and when it asks for a bank ignore it and press ENTER. Then on the last position in the MASTER menu select the update. The display sould say send bank A. Send bank A (3.6 version) to the Voyager and let me know if there's a System Exclusive Error or just sayin...

Hi square_wave,
the trick with the -1 and +1 buttons only works in boot system 3.6 not in older versions.
Do you have own drivers for your interface?

Hi square_wave,
as long as you are using a cheap MIDI interface without other drivers than the Windows drivers it will not work.
Take a look here in the middle of the thread:

Re: fast toggle between "real panel parameters" and presets?
Is there a fast way to switch between 1. using a voyager preset 2. "real panel parameters" mode, where it uses the actual settings on the unit reading the manual it appears you need to dive thru some menu options. it would be nice to just hit a button thanks! Yes, in version 3.6 you can p...

Re: Sysex woes
Hi,
it makes no sense to run different software versions. The boot version must be the same as the system version otherwise you get problems.
Here you can get the latest versions and some infos (post no. 5):

Hi Greg, btw, I forgot to mention there are hidden functions on power on: When you press and hold the ENTER and the CURSOR and switch on the Voyager you will stay in the boot system. When you press and hold the -1 and the +1 buttons and switch on the Voyager the system will do a reset. This reset do...
