Thanks and yea like it's not unbearable, adjusting the volume does help. Stiiive, do you mean not using an adapter as the power supply? It's the only pedal I'm using but it does share an adapter with other things.

I've sorted it now thanks. It was just that the midi channel on the controller had somehow set itself to channel 2, dunno how this happened while playing but that was the reason for any other newbies who come across this.
