Re: Any Octatrack users?
Yea I originally stumbled across it as I was looking a sequencer for my Phatty but I had also considered a sampler in the past too, it seems this has the best of both but I'm also concerned I might be biting off more than I can chew with this as I've no experience with anything like it.

Re: Any Octatrack users?
Yea I get ya, I know it can't trigger poly by midi as one voice means one voice. In hindsight I guess it's no question as to whether it can do it with samples as any multitrack can. More the effectiveness and ease of use for such things I was questioning. I think I'm already sold on it, actually che...

Any Octatrack users?
I been thinking of making a purchase and was just wondering if anyone has any advice on whether it would be a good addition. What I'm mainly curious about is how it will interact with my recently purchased Slim Phatty. One thing I'm curious about is, can it be used to trigger polyphonic chords on th...

Re: Moogerfooger 104M, Pittsburg Modular Cell 48, or Strymon
Hey all, Buying a Sub Phatty this weekend and was planning to get a Moog 104M to go with it. I LOVE the sound of the 104M, but due to the cost of it, I have to at least weigh other options before making the final decision. Another necessary piece for me is the Zvex Lo-Fi Junky, however I can emulat...

Re: LP + EHX Memory Toy
Thanks and yea like it's not unbearable, adjusting the volume does help. Stiiive, do you mean not using an adapter as the power supply? It's the only pedal I'm using but it does share an adapter with other things.

Re: LP + EHX Memory Toy
Just got myself a Memory Boy to go with my Phatty. It's a nice combination but has anyone experienced problems with a background buzz when passing the Phatty through the EHX to a sound card? I'm wondering is this just standard with synths going through guitar pedals? It's not that noticeable when pl...

Re: Need a good reverb unit
Yea thanks for the advice! The trinity seems to have been discontinued, I guess if I was to look hard enough I'd probably find one though. I think for the minute I'm gonna go with the HOF, heard good things about the Blue Sky and EHX ones but the Blue Sky is a bit more than I was hoping to pay right...

Re: Need a good reverb unit
With regards to digital reverbs, is the original tone likely to be compromised if it has an analog dry path? I was thinking of going for something like the TC Hall of fame, in the meantime until I can splash out on a spring or tape reverb. Has anyone had any experience with this reverb (or others li...

Re: No Arpeg Enable:On in Advanced Menu
I've just come across this as I'm having the exact same problem with mine yet pressing the value knob in does nothing, what page are you supposed to press this on?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Slim Phatty not detecting control keyboard.
I've sorted it now thanks. It was just that the midi channel on the controller had somehow set itself to channel 2, dunno how this happened while playing but that was the reason for any other newbies who come across this.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Slim Phatty not detecting control keyboard.
I'm new to the forum here so sorry if this has been posted before. I've just purchased a Slim Phatty but I'm failing to get it to pick up the midi in from my controller keyboard. Has anyone else encountered this and maybe have some advice? The Playnote function is working under menu so it's not an i...
