Here's a tiny little fiddle with the Mother-32 on bass...and sequencing parts of the Make Noise Mysteron...and clocking the Mutable Instruments Grids.
Enjoy.

Re: Video: Improv Trio. Heavily featuring Sub37
Thanks, stiiiiiiive. That lovely distortion/overdrive is the gain channel of my Orange TH100 tube amp. I have about 1/3 of the Sub37's signal being sent to the tube amp (and over half of the Nord's signal)-it adds warmth/tone on the clean channel and balls-out gritty overdrive on the gain channel, t...

Video: Improv Trio. Heavily featuring Sub37
This is the beginning of a new project, Reifier, a 3-piece improvise band comprised of bass, drums, and keys (me with Sub37, Nord Electro, and mucho fx). Our goal is to create something new every time, whether it's rehearsal, live show, video, or studio time. This video is a short excerpt from a lon...

Re: Share your synthesizer music!
Here's some rather cinematic music I recently made using synths and samplers...and Logic Pro X. Quite a bit of Moog and Moogerfoogers used throughout. I've been working on my mixing skills, so I invite any and all criticism that will help me improve. Cheers and Enjoy. https://soundcloud.com/namahsha...

Re: Stomp Box Pedals that Work With Synths (Digital, Analog)
MXR Carbon Copy-- Another under-rated analog delay pedal, especially for the price. Great feedback madness as well. JHS Fuzz-- Small, simple pedal with great warm tone. Just added one to my Sub37 chain (3 minifoogers: ring mod, chorus, delay...then reverb). Bob Burt Reverb-- Beautiful, lush, hand-bu...

Re: Anyone else have this issue with their Sub37?
Mine locked up on me during my gig this past weekend, and had to reboot it. Firmware 1.1, no midi nuthin,' just the 37 straight into the pedalboard and out to the amp. Power cycling resolved the issue for the rest of the evening. The 37 had been on for about 3 hours by the time the issue presented ...

Re: Anyone else have this issue with their Sub37?
I'm definitely not using MIDI in any way.
I still haven't updated the firmware... I suppose I'll try that first.
I guess I'm just a bit anxious since my serial number falls right in the sweet spot of where a lot of the issues happen to be, 00870.

Anyone else have this issue with their Sub37?
Several times now, my Sub37 has frozen or locked-up on me in the middle of rehearsal (all of a sudden nothing works, buttons, knobs, keys, nothing). A quick power cycle always seems to sort it out, but this should NOT be happening at all. I'm just curious if anyone else has encountered this issue. T...

Re: Ultraslim Sub 37 Module
I suggested this same idea awhile ago, and it was met with mixed reviews... But, I still think it's a good idea. Am I the only one who would like to see Moog also release a slim, no-knobs, rack version specifically for poly-chaining? With no pots or displays they could make them slim and i...

Thanks, jsharpphoto.
I have at least five different kits that I've made using just the Voyager. Incredible drum sounds if you have the patience to invoke them, haha.

New Jam: Moog and Eurorack play nice.
Here's a little jam I recorded with my new small modular setup and the Voyager. I synced the modular to Ableton and used two kits of samples I recently made: one with Voyager drum samples, the other with chopped samples from a separate modular jam. All of the melodies played on the Moog were done li...

Re: Share your synthesizer music!
I finally dipped my toes into the modular waters and bought a little Pittsburgh Modular kit. Here are the first couple of nonsense noise jams I did on the little guy. Enjoy.
