Re: Sub 37 rumors/new features wishlist
Hi! I'd like to know if there's any rumors regarding Sub 37 upcoming features and also what do you want for new features :) ? Just curious, what additional features are you expecting/wanting from the Sub 37 that you think it's lacking? I think the Sub 37 is pretty much finalized, especially with th...

Re: a new polyphonic Moog
No offense to the original poster, but does anyone else get really annoyed with threads like these? It seems there's a new one every week or so. It seems kind of strange/arrogant/naive that someone would start a thread based on what I can only assume is zero synth building experience, just to tell ...

Well, not pure speculation, since people got to demo it at Knobcon this past week.thealien666 wrote:The rumor machine at work. Nothing new so far. No announcement from Moog Music, pure speculation.

Re: Headphones for Sub 37?
Let me clarify my statement regarding boosted bass. What I meant to say was my mixes ended up having boosted bass using the Sonys. The mix sounded good in the headphones (I live in an apartment and can't always mix using monitors), but when I checked it in my car and on my home stereo the bass was ...

Re: Headphones for Sub 37?
the Sony MDR-7506s are considered the industry standard in most pro studios... if you know this then you probably know that the 7506's are RENOWNED for having crap bass. they are as light in the bottom end as a Victoria Secret model. nice for rock or classical but useless for something like EDM. as...

Re: Headphones for Sub 37?
I've got a pair of Sony MDR-7506s, which I love, and I've just ordered a Sub 37. The Sonys are not the most efficient cans and I will need to be able to plug headphones directly into the Sub 37. Anyone using these with good results or should I consider another pair? Thanks very much. Not sure what ...

Re: 1.1.0 is now here!
I only wish you could independently choose how many pulse counts per step ... go to the new Preset Edit->SEQUENCER menu, set MOD DST = "RTCHT CT" (ratchet count) and set SEQ MOD AMT greater than 0%. Now the mod-wheel position, recorded per sequence step, can set the ratchet count per step...

Re: Suggentions for case or softbag for Sub 37
The lovecraft? Strange sort of vibe but I like it. I have a odd fascination with cases and bags. Even thou I'm not gig right now I had a hard time resisting the ATA I love ATA cases (I think it's called a fetish). I'm happy with my bag. Yep, Lovecraft Bar in PDX for the "Volt Divers" coll...

Re: 1.1.0 is now here!
Really nice update, thanks Amos! And I really like the ratcheting feature; played with it quite a bit. I only wish you could independently choose how many pulse counts per step like with the Intellijel Metropolis sequencer . For example, being able to have 6 Pulses on Step 1, and 3 Pulses on Step 5,...

Re: Suggentions for case or softbag for Sub 37
One thing my bandmate noted; while the Moog logo looks totally awesome they might as well have painted "Steal me first" on the case. I think he might be right :( If I was going to gig with mine I'd get the ATA case. Do it right once. Yeah, I thought about that with the logo emblazoned on ...

Re: Suggentions for case or softbag for Sub 37
Hi guys I just returned from a transatlantic flight with my Sub 37 in its Moog ATA Moulded case in checked baggage. Both the case and the synth made it unscratched in perfect condition. So highly recommended! Good to hear but, which one was it? The ATA case - http://www.moogmusic.com/products/acces...

Re: Post your latest purchase!!
Two latest purchases for me; the Eventide H9, and my Korg Arp Odyssey finally arrived today! Looks very nice sitting above my Moog Sub 37... and sounds fantastic (just as I remember from the first time I played one back in 1978!) But now I am officially out of room in my tiny studio. http://i1375.ph...

Re: Post your latest purchase!!
Not Moog related (I already got the Sub 37 last year) but I just picked up the Korg Volca Sample and the Korg SQ-1... did this little live jam (along with the MS-20 mini, sequenced paraphonically by the SQ-1) as a first test - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-xDpTs2f4E

Re: A fully analog sequencer from Moog - that's what I want.
Will the Moog Sequencer Complement B work for a Sub Phatty? I don't see why it wouldn't... it should work with almost anything with CV inputs, but especially with the Phatty, Voyager, Minitaur family of synths. Here is a Sub Phatty being sequenced with a Dot Com Q960 (which is about the same differ...
