Re: triangle bassdrum on the RME
Hi, The easy way is to switch off the oscillators and drive the filter to self-oscillation (resonance past 8 apprx). Then Use a low cutoff point for a deep drum sound and use a combination of the two envelopes to get anywhere from a short snappy kick towards a long 808-ish bassdrum. This is a sine-w...

Re: Wahwah lead
A HP/LP filter in serial connection is truly a bandpass filter (wah-wah). A crybaby pedal will however sound a bit different from voyagers own bandpass.

Re: envelope to "morph" from sawtooth to triangle?
Theoretically: a) make your OSC produce sawtooth wave, b) make one of the MOD busses tell filter ENV (source) to control WAVE (destination), c) set your filter amount to a negative value. Now, attack should be at 0, decay is the rate of the morph and sustain (along with amount pot on the MOD bus and...

Re: Screen Hate
A Voyager Old School (and heeps of vintage) without any screens. And nice they are.
It's just kind of nice to suddenly have note sync on LFO, like you always wanted, etc...

Re: Analog Polysynth?
Oh, dear - that name is not so good, is it? Sometimes I actually feel let down having such a fine synth with that name...museslave wrote:While we in the Analog Purist Division aren't particularly pleased about the departure from knob-per-function in the Phattys (although the name is a FAR worse offense)...

Re: Cool white noise "oscillator" trick
This is a great sounding trick. I always felt though that omitting a white noise generator in the audio chain in LP is just about the only serious design flaw of an otherwise fantastic instrument. It's simply not enough to have it as a mod source.

Re: What inspired your interest in Moog?
When I was a wee lad in the late seventies, my dad played track for me from an Edgar Winter Band album. He told me it was a Moog (as a general concept for a synthesizer) that made all the weird noises. I was fascinated and always dreamed of having a Moog. It turned out that Edgar Winter was playing ...

Thank you Amos, for listening!
The new arp and LFO sync abilities have put the LP in a different league.
Best regards,

Ohh, the Opus 3... It's a highly desirable machine. Great sound with the stunning string chorus f/x. But still, ever since my beloved Jupiter 8 was stolen from a London studio, I'm on the lookout for one of the great original poly beasts. I'll be among the first to place an order for a Memorymoog re...

Dead note (the occasional)
Hello folks, The lower G-note on my LP Stage II dies out every once in a while. It won't send MIDI but LP still recieves, so there's a problem with the keyboard itself, I guess. Now here's the weird part: This only seems to happen when I've been using the LP's filter in 1 or 2 pole modes. I know thi...
