Re: Subsequent 37 bug
Good to know. I’m waiting to hear back from the email I sent at the same time as my initial post.

Re: Minitaur Presets
Or call up an init patch and write that over the one you want to get rid of.

New mod destination request
It’d be great if the mod destination of “all oscillators octave” could be added. Currently it is only possible to modulate “oscillator 1 octave” or “oscillator 2 octave” separately. I’ve asked in an email when reporting the bug I found.

Subsequent 37 bug
I think I may have found a bug in the Subsequent 37. I’m on the latest firmware version. Set Mod Bus 1 as follows: mod source to “constant on”; mod depth to 5; mod destination to mod bus 2’s LFO “hi range” button; Mod wheel to 100% in the controllers menu. When raising the mod wheel one would expect...

Re: Selling Sub Phatty & moving on
Sub Phattys have been selling on eBay for £400 and you can still get a new one for £600. You don’t need to pay tax on something you’re selling. You might pay commission fees if selling through a shop or eBay. You could trade it towards the price of a new one from a shop but often you’ll get more mon...

Re: Sub 37 firmware upgrade to 1.3.2?
That is for the Subsequent CV which is a different beast. (Having said that, my Subsequent (non-CV) appears to have a menu option for CV outputs!)

Re: Sub 37 rumors/new features wishlist
I sent an email about the parameter display and had a reply saying it’s been passed on to the relevant people so fingers crossed. There is a workaround I’ve figured out: if you set the global pot mode to pass thru you can call up a preset and slowly turn the desired parameter knob until the asterisk...

Re: Idea for next Subsequent update - BPM display
Done. I also included the idea about having the current and stored value for parameters to be shown in the display when turning knobs and pushing buttons.

Re: Sub vs subsequent
Subsequent has a different keybed and improved headphone amp. From what I remember from reading both manuals, the functionality is the same. (The gain staging is different as outlined in the video on sonic differences).

Re: MF-Ring mod - expression pedal
Hi ! A couple of questions. I'd like to use a sturdy expression pedal. something along the lines of a Boss or an Ernie Ball style pedal. 1.which ones would work best with the MF ring. 2.When I plug in my old plastic Roland it only covers a small portion of the range of the Freq knob. I'm quite new ...

I had a similar thing happen with the Minitaur editor in stand-alone mode.

Re: Presets
Just purchased a Subsequent 37, however I can only access 144 presets. Have tried a factory restore - but still only the 144 as opposed to the 256 I should have. From Bnk 10 preset 01 onwards it says Init Preset and all have the same basic sound. Please help!!!! There’s nothing wrong. Only banks 1-...

Re: Minitaur octave tuning
Yes, you’re right they are in unison. I’ve calibrated the oscillators and VCO 1 is still an octave higher than I want it to be. The only thing that will stop me buying a new set of pedals would be if someone could tell me why the midi transpose window does nothing on editor at any interval. As it g...

Re: Minitaur octave tuning
The VCOs are in unison when the VCO frequency knob is at noon. There’s an octave offset in either direction. This is a bass synth so if your keyboard has only two or three octaves and doesn’t transpose down two octaves then you might have trouble. But the editor should allow two octaves offsett in e...

Re: Model D Filter EG as oscillator modulation source behavi
What is the behaviour of the vintage Model D if you set oscillator 3 to modulate the pitch of oscillator 1? Mute oscillator 3 in the mixer and set it at a square wave, decoupled from the keyboard and set as slow as it will go. When the pulse is in its off phase, is the pitch of oscillator 1 the sam...
