Re: Fooger Fever... what to add next?
I appreciate the feedback & ideas - I'll start browsing Ebay and see what shows up on the radar. Anything I do will be keyboard-based, using VST's and iPad apps to fill in the gaps for percussion, guitars. etc. I'm strictly a hobbyist, and there's little chance anythig I do will wind up any furt...

Re: Fooger Fever... RACK MOUNT question...
I appreciate the feedback - Since my (current) plan is to eventually add one more fooger plus a CP-251, it looks like the MF-107 will probably be the one to add to the mix! Question concerning rack-mounting ~ Does the Moog custom mount allow ready access to all the CV connections on the back panel o...

Fooger Fever... what to add next?
I'm looking ahead to start planning for my 3rd (and probably final) MoogerFooger (at some point I need to think about saving the funds for a Phatty!!) For now, I'll primarily be using the gear wth my Minitaur and possibly my MG-1. I have a MF-102 Ring Modulator and MF-105M MIDI MuRF, and already hav...

Re: Running Animoog through Filtatron
Sounds interesting... I think I'm following it, but need clarification. Let me get this straight- You attach the iU2 to the 30pin port of the iPhone. iPhone is running Filtatron. Then, you run a stereo line out of the iPad's headphone jack (?) into the input port of the iU2. The ipad is running Ani...

Re: Getting audio in and out of an iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch
Good news & a proven solution for "legacy" iOS devices (iPad 2, 3; iPhone 4):

Re: Running Animoog through Filtatron - TASCAM iU2
I've just tried a solution that I can confirm works with Filtatron - at least with an iPad 2 (but does NOT work on iPhone 3GS, which I currently have, but IS supposed to work with iPhone 4) The TASCAM iU2 audio / MIDI interface has a built-in (rather short!) dock connector to hook up with pre-iPhone...

iPhone / Tascam iXZ / FILTATRON test...
This worked pretty well for me with my iPhone 3GS: http://tascam.com/product/ixz/ Reading the reviews in Amazon for the Tascam iXz, it appears that it is plagued by two big problems: 1. Noise when headphones are plugged in to monitor sound. 2. iXz does NOT provide zero latency monitoring. Both prob...

I'll check it out again this weekend, and see what, if any, issues I run in to...nancarrow wrote:Stuka- have you used this Tascam specifically with Filtatron, and it works as an INPUT source?

Re: Getting audio in and out of an iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch
Not really, but in all honesty I haven't spent a lot of time trying out the different iOS device combinations.
I could see where that could be a problem for "pro" use.
Since I got the iO Dock for the iPad, most of my apps have used that device arrangement, and zero issues so far...

Re: Patching moogerfoogers together
Cool tips!
I'll be receiving a MF-102 in a few days to go with my MF-105M and Minitaur ~
Looking forward to trying out some of the patch connections you recommended.
Thanks for sharing these!

Re: Moog MG-1 CV connect to Minitaur?
MG-1 and Minitaur are both CV "IN" only, unfortunately, and the MG-1 is not MIDI-equipped unless it has an after-market mod. However - The Doepfer "Dark Link" is a stand-alone MIDI-to-CV converter that can provide the required CV pitch control for the MG-1, and even includes a ga...

Re: Animoog / io dock / MPK 25 / Pro tools
Hey guys It's all in the title. I can't get any sound by pluging the io dock to the MPK 25. The question is : how to control animoog with the mpk, and record into pro tools ? All the best Richard * Does your MPK 25 have a power source? If it's not plugged into a powered USB port or have a separate ...
