The Model D sounds a lot fatter and warmer but the Voyager has far more modulation possibilities, MIDI and memory. Buy a Minimoog Mode D... You can’t understand what a great sizer the Mode D is before you tried it!! I have a Mode D and a Voyager Anniversary Edition and the Mode D sounds a lot fatter then the Voyager…

Hi! Got my Voyager AE Monday serial number 139... what a great sizer!! I love the high quality hardware and it sounds great but my Model D sounds more phatt and has has higher output on the audio out. Yeh I have got used to the sound and when you play you don’t think about it... I’m a bit worried about the life span of the light bulb. I wonder how much it will cost to replace the bulb…
