I use mine all the time; I got it in a large part because of the Envelope Out but I've ended up using my pedal to control cutoff and play it quite often with my left foot. I usually run into the 101 then 104z with 105 processing the loops. I'd like to get a 102 and 103, though. ;)

Wouldn't it be great to mod the MuRF so you could control both the filter band's gain (with the slider) and it's cutoff frequency (via a new pot sitting above each slider)? Yeah, and it'd be neat to adjust all the filters' resonance Q as well... I'd settle for swapping out the value of just one of ...

I'm using a cheap M-audio pedal and it works great. I was a bit apprehensive after having purchased a cheap expression pedal long ago that had ok travel, but swept the entire value of the potentiometer within the middle inch of travel, leaving the rest of the physical travel useless (or worse, nebul...

so, if one wanted to let more bass through on a standard MF105MuRF, could it be modified (relatively) easily by swapping out a resistor on one of the filters for another resistor of a different value or something? or would that be a much more complicated modification?

Have you tried it on a different electrical system, or perhaps isolating the MF101/102 by temporarily using a battery pack to power the units? I'm wondering if perhaps this 'wireless' modulation is actually being carried by the power cabling somehow. I've got extremely noisy power at my home in Hawa...

Maybe I'm missing something, but the lack of a tap tempo on the 104z has been a bit of a peeve of mine and I have thought a little bit about a solution. Basically the only way around it is to have some MIDI device that takes in the tap tempo and deduces the BPM, then have that value sent to a MIDI-C...

thanks for the suggestions, but when I read the moogerfooger manuals I thought it said something about not just splitting a signal, or about not plugging an expression pedal into multiple CV in's... just to be clear, I'd like to mult the envelope out from my MF101, that should be no problem however ...

Any idea how this would compare? It's much less expensive!

Home-brew Mult Circuits

Hi Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to build a Mult? Can I just use any patchbay? My plan was to try and find a simple circuit and parts list online, that I might be able to patch together with my beginner-level soldering skills and a trip to the Radio Shack parts bin... Ideally I'd...

I'm no expert but here is a thought: can't you build one pretty easy? The manuals show how to wire a potentiometer; it sounds like you basically want a toggle switch added in-line... I ordered a 104z; I think the 104sd is going to be very hard to find and expensive! I'm looking for a simple diagram ...

You can sync the MuRF to MIDI clock, but it requires a sequencer and a MIDI-CV converter. Any units worth mentioning? I'm working with a MuRF (and soon a 104z Delay), but I also use MIDI romplers etc. Ideally I could find a single unit that can serve as a master clock generator, outputting multiple...

hmm, that's interesting. Not a bad price on the RS-30. Anyone seen any demo mp3's online? 8)
