Re: can my sub37 be used as a CV to MIDI converter
I don't think so, because the Sub 37 only has CV inputs as far as I know.

Re: Sub 37 external midi to usb
Another option would getting a cheap USB MIDI interface. I think you can get one for about $10-15.

Re: SubPhatty Editor VST / Firmware update
There are currently new firmware and editor versions for Sub Phatty in beta testing. If you're willing to try, you could join the beta testers group and see if your issue is resolved in the new version: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=25663

Re: SubPhatty Editor VST / Firmware update
I've never had this problem, but do you have the correct MIDI input/output selected in the editor's preferences? I believe selecting the correct one is sometimes the solution for people having this issue.

Re: Need Sub Phatty editor and firmware update any news?
I don't have these issues (I also don't use Live), but there is a new editor and firmware in beta now. If you'd like to check if your issues are fixed in the new version you could join the beta testing group as explained here: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=25663

If your patches are precious to you, I would also consider backing them up on your computer.

Re: Sub Phatty and Logic Pro X
So have you tried disabling local control before connecting your synth to your DAW?

Re: Sub Phatty and Logic Pro X
Do you use the Sub Phatty editor? What connections do you use to your DAW? If you're using MIDI and audio connections, you may have created a MIDI feedback loop. In that case playing a key will play the sound on the synth, but also send the MIDI note to the DAW, which may echo it back to your synth....

Seems to be a bit more expensive (which makes sense): http://www.guitarcenter.com/Moog/SUBseq ... Edition.gcChimponaut wrote:Is the price the same?

Re: Model D or MFB Dominion 1?
I'm also primarily a guitar player and I also fell in love with the sound of the Model D. I first bought a Sub Phatty, thinking that would be a more budget-friendly way to satisfy my craving for Moog, but I never really found the sounds I fell in love with. It's a cool synth, but somehow it's just w...

Re: PROBLEMS RESTORING FACTORY PRESETS
I think that's meant to be read as "offers 256 preset locations". At least my Sub 37 didn't come with 256 unique sounds when I received it. There were sounds in the last couple of banks, but they were all just the same init patch as far as I remember. Whether or not there were 134 unique f...

Re: PROBLEMS RESTORING FACTORY PRESETS
I don't have my Sub 37 anymore, but as far as I remember the last few banks are filled with init presets, so there were never 256 different factory presets. I believe using the editor you can just drag a preset from your computer to your synth, but I don't remember the exact steps/buttons. I assume ...

Re: Arpeggiator and Sub Phatty
I'm sure the OP-1 is cool, but also more expensive than the Sub Phatty itself. :) (Of course the OP-1 is also more than just an arpeggiator, it's a pretty extensive instrument itself.) I'm pretty happy with my Arturia KeyStep, which might be the cheapest dedicated MIDI controller with a keyboard and...

Re: Voyager Insert Question
A more flexible solution would probably be an equalizer. You can use an EQ as a boost, but choose how much to boost (or cut) each frequency band it has a control for.
