Re: Model D prices
Please, no! Not this again. haha- with that broad statement, you started it! you could save yourself some trouble by prefacing bold opinions like that with the simple phrase, "In my opinion", as in "In my opinion, the Voyager is virtually nothing like the Model D" , because ther...

Hiya- I sell some work locally to businesses (for jingles) and lo budget filmmakers- A client recently showed me a few sites he uses for stock music- as an artist, you set up a selling account and post your stuff up for sale- the site gets a %- A guy a while back put some of my stuff on this site ht...

Re: Voyager programming walk thrus
You'll need to sign up but I can't stress enough how much great information is available. GregAE has done an amazing job and provides much of what you are looking for. I second that! I use the trick of a stereo plug into the mix loop jack, then back into (via a Y adaptor) the audio in for grit and ...

Re: Can really an moog modular be cloned today?
Do what makes you happy and phuk what anyone else thinks about it. phuk yeah! Ooookay. :? So, what would be the point of coming on a forum to ask what people think then ? haha- because my wife and friends are all Moog talked out for one thing- and after 3 glasses of red wine, Erik's "phuk"...

Re: Regarding Mods: Any curatorial sentiments?
My piano does not have the original hammers but the replacement ones are way less maintenance and their neophrene tips sound excellent with the tonebar/tine sets in this piano. That is value in my book. The original preamp, poweramp, and speakers were missing - again not a concern because they didn...

Re: Regarding Mods: Any curatorial sentiments?
I don't know, if I'm spending money on an instrument, I'm doing so to use it to make music with- Like my 70s Fender bass- the stock pickup sounded unalterably muddy, so I swapped it out- My '68 Wurlitzer 200 is a tad bit hummy, so once I scrape up the money, I'll be getting it's board replaced- It w...

Re: Voyager Old School mod
Get or make a stepped pot connected directly to a 1/4" connector and use the CV in. No mods necessary. quick solution, but I wouldn't be able to target specific Oscs- It'd be nice to switch a saw to a square mid-song on Osc whichever with the other two running, but unless I kill the other two,...

Re: monophonic Farfisa
thanks! so here's what I've got: all 3 on pulse, OSC 2 set up an octave and tuned to a 5th, filter wide open, resonance at 60%, envelopes flat with sustain wide open and 0 release- I also added a little bit of noise and Y-cabled the effects insert back into the external input jack (and cranked it up...

Re: Can really an moog modular be cloned today?
for the record, I'm starry eyed and hype-driven, and proud! haha- this forum's a riot sometimes- you guys should check out the Gretsch guitar forum some time- parallel universe, just different product names- they roasted me a while back for selling my vintage '64 and buying a new one- keep up the dr...

So I've been drafted into a 60s-esque garage rock combo, half covers, half originals- Our debut show is later this month- Up until last night, I had been playing my beat up (2 broken keys, side panel gone, prog screen dead) Korg MS2000 on its "British organ" patch (when I power it up, I bl...
