CTRLR works both standalone and as a vst. However, it’s an editor and not librarian.

Try having only the midi output active in flstudio to make sure you don’t have a feedback loop or something.

Why aren’t you switching stuff on before launching Ableton ?
It is standard practice to have all devices you plan on using connected and powered up before launching your DAW.

I don’t think so. Tony Allgood from Oakley sound did a number of mods to his Voyager long before the VOS was released.

If the buttons on the spd-sx send program change messages then it will work.

It’s not a placebo. You have to switch off the parameter display to get increased resolution.

Sounds like the computer.
To verify it’s not Voyager try plugging it’s MIDI out into something else and play some notes.

Just to clarify... is there a way the SQ1 can be used to "trick" the DFAM into playing sequences shorter than 8 steps, i.e. playing say step 1 - 5 then restarting at step 1? You don’t have to trick the dfam. You can bypass it’s internal sequencer and sequence it from any other sequencer t...
