+ 1 on the Apex stand... that picture looks like my live set-up! There is no weight or stability issue... but, I wouldn't gig it if the band members were wild on stage.... the stand can't be tipped going forward, but can be going backward... of course, that's where YOU are. I really like it, though....

I would imagine that any effort like that would be in electronic form... it's really a major undertaking to produce printed copy at a regular interval for a small company. Of course, if it existed, I'd subscribe too!

...hmm... shots in the dark here. I would go through all of the advanced preset settings, and the rest of the Master pages just to be sure nothing wacked is happening. I'm sure your problem happens on all patches, right?... Did you ever use the Pitch CV input? Ever, say, be using it and pull the cor...

...one more thing... to get the software to play back the MIDI track and send the notes to the LP, you'll have to find out which MIDI port the LP is connected to. Most software will allow you to rename these ports to friendlier names, but typically, they'll be listed as USB Audio Device, USB Audio D...

not a dumb question. MIDI is not audio. The software will tell the LP which notes to play (the ones you previously recorded) and the LP will play it back. You hear the audio directly from the LP, just as you do when you play it live. Other VSTs, audio tracks, etc, do not "play through" the...

... sounds great. maybe put the jacks on the other side panel? Lotsa space inside the LP, if I remember correctly. ..would love to see it as a field upgrade... maybe 300., 400. + shipping if ya send it in to Moog. Just wild guesses, of course. ...maybe the marketing guys can come up with a bundle de...

WAVE button idea

agreed, voltor... any use of the existing hardware like that would be most excellent... I find a pedal connected to the Filter cutoff to be the single best accessory you can have... frees up your hands for every other tweak... I love the continuously variable waveforms for the Oscillators, but how a...

...yep, I had opened up mine last year to do an I/O board swap (Moog sent the replacement part) ... just be very careful of static electricity... I'm pretty sure that's what fried my board in the first place... and I'm pretty careful about it in the first place. The actual repair was easy.. took abo...

...i dunno... this still sounds like insanity... why the hell would you buy synth after synth and not even invest more than "a month" to get to know it... let alone learn how to play it, even in a rudimentary manner... he is of course free to spend his money anyway he wants... but I'm not ...

...well, rubberized they say... I really like it, by the way... and the pitch and mod wheels are the best in the business, IMO... the side panels give you a nice grip when you're using the left-hand wheels, and when the gig is over, helps you not to DROP THE LP!! I'm sure I would like the wood sides...

...presets are merely storage of (mostly) front-panel settings... the whole point of having those knobs in front of you is to use them as you play to modulate the sound... makes it so very human, etc... I use the LP and my non-note playing hand is as busy as my note-playing hand with all the switche...

...thanks... actually, it's all LP... you can get some pretty interesting timbres when you crank the LFO rate up... creates all sorts of sidebands or something... in any case, the three tracks were laid down one after the other, immediately, no editing... which is why it's a bit long! The LP is cert...
