forum query

...anyone know how to access a specific page in these forums... the Go To Page text doesn't do anything when you try to click it. You just see 1,2,3.......24,25,26 for example. How do ya access, say, page 17?

Maybe I'm missing something insanely obvious. thx!

+1 on the grounding thing... I had the same issue with going into an HP laptop... Except that I got ground-induced noise when the LP was NOT connected via USB.... must have picked it up somehow via the audio out into my audio interface... got a better interface (Firewire) and now the system is reall...

...very true.. the organ builders most often "cut their own" out of the stock wood, then apply the veneer tops... it's a work of art, to be sure. They last forever and age nicely...

...As a pro classical organist, I get the chance to play on some very exquisite keyboards... I'm talking about the actual keys, made of beautifully grained woods and perfectly balanced. An LP with that type of keys would be so great. A luxury item, not a request for a standard LP III. Maybe I could ...

see if you like this one

i use an apex column stand... works well, looks good.

Get the better one rather than the delta low-end one. there's a new apex out now, might be even better, but pricey.

basically, I hates X-stands!!!!

improv on the LP

...a little improv in the style of JS Bach... 1 track of LP II, recorded live into the new Propellerhead Record software... I use pedal control of Filter cutoff, which lets me grab lots of other parameters on the fly... just for fun... what a nice performance synth the LP is. enjoy. best, jgirv here...

yeah, i think it's a ground loop... Try unplugging the laptop and running on batteries to see if that stops it. Eliminated it for me.

as far as i can glean from other posts on topics like this, the LP is somewhat picky about it's electrical source... maybe related to it's analog signal path?

...the USB port is simply the conduit for the MIDI interface, to be used instead of the DIN (regular MIDI) connections. So, yes, you can direct connect to your computer... a program like MIDI-OX is free, and easy enough to use. I dumped all three sets of factory patches into it, and made my own cust...
