The Lambda is a great sounding string machine, no doubt about it, but for me the Godwin String is unbeatable… that's the one I want !!weemac wrote:It was my first Synth (after a casio vl tone) and I've never heard its equal in the strings department..

Re: COMING NAMM 2014
IMHO, the KB CTRL switch is likely applicable to the MONO MODE, and would change the note priority, allowing either just the lowest note or just the highest note to sound. In that case, this switch would have nothing to do with the duophonic nature of the machine. You could of course both (you and ...

Re: Why so many dead OSCs?
What's annoying though is when you're out of the US, they have no consideration of international clients Well, I can tell you for a fact that you are totally wrong on this one ! I have contacted Moog support on a number of occasions and they have been responsive and efficient… and as far as I know ...

Re: COMING NAMM 2014
fyvewytches, here is a brief explanation from Marc Doty concerning "polyphony" vs. "paraphony": Yep, so basically we agree but he doesn't even mention EGs which seems strange to me. BTW in my previous post I didn't even mention "polyphony", so I'm not really sure why y...

Re: COMING NAMM 2014
..., and did I mention it's DUOPHONIC??? ... You did…. but it's not. It's paraphonic. Which means (somebody please correct me if I'm wrong) that you can play every note on the keyboard at the same time BUT they share the same EG, filter and VCA. Although it may this may be very limiting for some pe...

Re: Show us your mounted golden knob!
Maybe having registered my Moog Voyager Old School when I bought it new in 2008 is too far back to receive anything ? (although I successfully updated my registration at the time of the announcement of the Brass Knob thing by Moog Music) I seem to remember that all Voyager owners up to the cutoff d...

Re: Share your synthesizer music!
This one started out as a demo of the COTK C907a, but as ever, I got carried away… All sounds are from my MU Modular, except for the strings and little melody starting around 4 mins into the track which are the Roland VP-330 I think one of the comments I received sums it up well… "nice and drea...

Re: Select Series Backlight
Alain, Yes, that's what I had understood to begin with but then this Backlight was working when demo'd but since bringing it home they have stopped and this I am not missing some setting in the menu that may disable the backlight, am I? led me to understand that his backlight may not be coming on at...

Re: Select Series Backlight
timmeahh, there is an on/off toggle switch inside. You may want to check that. You'll need to open the back panel, it's a big black plastic box on the left hand side (looking at the Voyager from the back). But I'm not sure I understand your issue. Is you backlight no longer working at all or does it...

Re: Select Series Backlight
Quick question- on a Select Series Voyager, should the backlight come on straight way or does it need to "warm up". If so, how long does this normally take? Although it's just about always on minimum, on my EB it comes on immediately. Has anyone had issues with the backlight failing? They...

Sorry to piss on the parade but mine broke again yesterday… no audio output.
Third "back for repairs" incident since I bought it new just over 2 years ago.

Re: Post your latest purchase!!
This was delivered last week but I only had the time to play with it for a couple of short sessions… it's the FFB with inductors and sounds magnificent. I put my VP-330 through it which makes it sound even better and just putting a single Mos-Lab Kobol oscillator through is just incredible !! http:/...
